World Replace The Mc Music, With The Actual Wynn Ost.

As you guy know we now have a resource pack for wynn!! been a thing for a long time.
and if you don't know, you can replace sound effects with resource packs now.
so why not replace the mc music, with the actual Wynncraft ost, not the in the game but the actual ost

yea those great songs. though it's a simple idea, which I haven't put much thought to, it's also a great idea.

though if you have any ideas to add pls do, I just thought about this and posted it as soon as I did.

 

Because you can't make certain Minecraft tracks play at certain times or in certain places, as far as I know. Not to mention there's not enough tracks of Mc music to replace with Wynn's OST.

 

Because that takes up a massive amount of memory which every player would need to download to play it, and Wynn should still be accessible to potatoes. In addition, there's tons of songs that would need to be orchestrated for this. That gives us exactly 9 themes(Introduction, Wynncraft Trailer Theme, and Ocean Update Trailer Theme don't play anywhere) out of...how many do we have now? It'd take absolutely ages, since Salted is the only one who's ever really properly orchestrated those songs.

 

I was keeping track of this at some point a while back, but I'd guess somewhere around 80-90 right now (there were 69 before the Wynnter update).

After typing this reply, I'm getting the feeling that statement was rhetorical

Wow, do what Pretzule told you to do, grab the juice. But seriously, I love listening to the in-game music, the only time it gets annoying is when there is a desync between my client and the server.

 

idk what I said there, let me reword that, it wouldn't replace all the in-game music. it would only replace some of the songs salted has already done wth the actual mc music.

 

Including that needs to code a system for discs to play and follow the player, so more hard work to Jumla, poor Jumla...

I thinked that before, but I feared that would happen something if I post it (for the past 2 post I maded that was fastly rejected and forced to delete it)

 

in 1.12 there seems to be some mention of new note block sounds, but the chances of wynn updating for that and some new block models anytime soon is really unlikely

I actually have a fairly good computer. I USED to have a potato.

 

i run minecarft on a potato and i can handle the grafics

 

It's not graphics, it's the time it takes to download the pack. It already takes awhile on many computers; adding in the real tracks to play as well would extend the size of the pack massively, and thus increase that time.

the music from wynn is based off these tracks there just note block verisons. personaly i just go to youtube and put it on repeat
