@Firestorm, I updated the consecutive attacks attack.

Updated her "Elemental Attack", buffed her "Dash", and added the description of the fight.

@Kra3tys forgot, never responded to you. most of the skills are things like knockback or slowness, but im sure there are a few occasions where bosses have special skills. but i do see what you mean, especially with the spells that are IV and arrow burst

what do you mean by location and level range?

For your boss I would suggest spawnpoints in the CoTL and perhaps a minor nerf.

if CoTL is canyon of the lost, then i don't think that'd be good.
too cramped and doesn't really fit a boss. maybe a type of guardian that halts progression throughout the canyon, but not a full on boss

CoTL has a few open areas that would be good for boss fights, as well as numerous very large caves.
It's also a wind based area mostly, so it's perfect for your boss.

Actually, canyon of the lost IS more relevant lore-wise.
It's ABSOLUTELY overrun by bandits. Canyon bandits on all sides, a quest where you have to break a magic spell put on the bandits, etc etc.

So having a bandit boss there makes sense.

No offense taken. Any response that's debating a response is a good one, regardless of the tone. I appreciate the time taken to type that out and formulate ideas.

And since I'm lazy we're gonna tackle this from the bottom up.

Of course my view is biased. As is yours, and so is everyone's views. Our views are shaped from the perspective of our experiences, and the information we are given. I asked my questions given the information I was given (as for the first question, my bad. Didn't see the location), and you responded given what I gave you. We are both biased here. We both have skewed views.

My perspective on world bosses is that they should only be spawned once, because from my experience they are huge ordeals which require coordination and often take up incredible amounts of time and resources. Wynncraft has nothing like that currently. Players consistently are able to solo bosses and monsters, or groups much bigger than three are rarely needed for on level quests with insane bosses like ToL. Why should we make it so people who have previously been borderline encouraged to play alone (there is literally no incentive to play in a group until the level 60 grind fest) have to group up with people to defeat something that spawns ordinarily and doesn't give player experience of a dungeon? If it's a quicker more random version of that experience, I can see why one might want to have mini-bosses spawn semi-frequently and give specific items and such, but a single monster that spawns alone in one specific area is pushing that idea a bit.

Now comparing these to key guardians is a relevant and good analogy. With some of my questions I was looking for wether it could move places or not. Limited movement is a must have for something like this, and acknowledging that is a good base of how to implement this. However at the time, I wasn't given the information to know whether you planned this or not. It's my bias from my interpretation of the information (that sounds like an edgy Indistrial Rock song lmfao).

Now if it was anywhere other than the canyon of the lost or Cinfras I'd be in 100% agreement about unprepared players having no reason to be there. However Cinfras is a major city so people reshoot there, and if they wander into a raid on a world boss that can screw all manner of things up for everyone. The canyon of the lost is a byzantinely complex maze that is annoying for even experienced sojourners to navigate. Unless there was a lot of context in bandits being slowly more concentrated near the boss and builds to fit the theme as a deterrent, and only having one entrance into it's areas, it'd be unreasonable to assume players shouldn't be there. However, such things would ideally be added with the boss.

And /servers is something most players won't do for a bit, unless they have had some life-scarring experience where they didn't type /server in time, so they lost their mythics or something. That's just an example, but people usually try to look for a way around an obstacle before trying an entirely different route. And if it's spawning in the same place on every server, hopping from server to server would be a pain, just to get past an area (assuming it's not in a cul desac in CoTL).

And we both addressed the first point so that's my counter argument. Let's keep this debate going until we both are flattened out.

ill respond to the rest later but world bosses have random spawn locations within a general area throughout servers. also players in wynncraft should be prepared for anything. at the very least running away or defending themselves

Actually you have to do Bob's Lost Soul before 60 and that requires at least 3 players, if only for a moment.

While I understand your arguments, I urge you to look at the given stats for the boss. That's not that overpowered for a solo fight at level 80.

Another way to prevent this from becoming an issue, buff regen and reduce speed and damage.
He won't be a one hit killer but he will be hard to kill, while also being slow enough to let someone get away at running speed.

Optional bosses that drop rare loot occasionally, but you have to give the altar X amount of X item. Like lets say, 36 rotten flesh per run. Everyone standing near it will be teleported to the arena.
