Opinions On The New Detlas Theme

I took a risk doing this.

This recent map push added three new songs to the game. Ancient Nemract and Ice Barrows are completely new and I'm extremely proud of them, but then, there's Detlas2. I took the old Detlas theme and revamped it a little bit. I realize some people are probably pretty pissed about this, so I want to know your opinions on the new theme, and if I should do this for other songs.

Please be honest, I want to know if I made a good choice or not.

AND, THE OLD DETLAS THEME IS SUPPOSED TO BE IN THE JUKEBOX. WE ARE WORKING ON THAT.

 

I don't really like old themes being changed because once you get used to a theme a change to it can be somewhat disruptive. The new segment is noticably higher pitched and this works to make it feel very out of place. I'd prefer the old theme.

 

Not a fan of the revamp in the slightest.

I love the new Detlas theme! Good work!
I think much of the Wynn music is getting quite boring for me, so this was perfect :D

 

I like it because it gives a little bit of a remix feeling lol.

 

i always have music turned off because its laggy + doesn't work half the time

 

I think its pretty good, except for some high tones. But imo there was nothing wrong with the old one.

 

Your music is awesome! But revamping old songs, idk... I dont like it cus whenewer i get back to that old areas and i hear the music it reminds me of my first days on WC 3 years ago :P and it is a good fealing that i really love.

EDIT: The second half doesn't feel quite as "powerful" as it used to, but other than that I don't really mind the remix.

yeah theyre really similar but I think I prefer the old theme because nostalgia

 

To be honest, I liked the old version a lot more. Maybe it's because I've been playing way back when Dungeons were simply walk-in, but you get so used to hearing those nostalgic tones that having a different version is just...wrong.

something about the detlas theme really agitates me, i always switch it out with the jukebox

 

i think i have hearing problems cause every time i here wynncraft music it always seems to be the same only on rare occasions i sense the diffrence eg ornage wybel fight that music is so unusual and epic
also i still didn't here the new deltas music cause my wifi is shit

 

While I do like the "Revamped" version of the Detlas theme, I feel like the old version fit the town better. I do hope you do more revamps of themes in the future though, they're pretty good!
