Comp For Wynncraft

Heya!

I'm here today to give a suggestion for the pvp community of Wynncraft. Although we have the nether, it would be nice to give a sort of push towards pvp other than dueling and the nether. And I'm talking about

Competitive PvP

What I mean about Competitive PvP is that we have a balanced fair way of PvP which everyone is on the same level.

For Example let's say a highly skilled level 40 player goes against a not-so skilled level 90 player in Comp. Normally with a duel the level 90 player would normally win, but with Comp everyone is on the same level and it comes down to skill, builds, and luck. (Luck is in every game, deal with it)

Here's how it would work:

- A level 50 comp (or game whatever) would turn everyone into level 50, and all gear with a requirement above level 50 will not be allowed, meaning the player can't join in. If your normally level 80 then your level will be temporarily changed to level 50.

- Depending on the level the game is set to (Level 20, 50, 80, etc) some types of items would not be allowed. Let's say your in a level 50 game once again, but your bringing in your most op mythics for it. However an example rule for a level 50 game is that you can only bring a maximum of 2 mythics into the game. That way people won't be bringing so many mythics that would demolish other people.

- It would be a kind of team deathmatch, but other kinds of modes would be recommended if you want to make one


- You shouldn't be able to go into games that are higher level then the class you are in right now.

- A game of comp maybe should be in a separate map but that's really for the build team to decide, it could be like the duels where its in where your taking the duel.

- Comp should maybe be 2v2 or 1v1 or maybe 5v5 or such. FFA isn't always the best option for a comp game.

- Some specific item bans, that are too overpowered would be needed if one item dominates the meta of comp.


I hope with that you can get a main picture of what comp would be like. It would make Wynn a place where you can make a strategic plan or builds for the match. It would support team synergy where you work together with other people to defeat the other team. I hope this brings back pvp or wynncraft as it seems a little inactive (for my perspective)

The Fair pvp, and all that, I believe is what the nether is/was... I mean... I haven't been there in forever... but I believe that everyone no matter the level is on an even playing field... unless I'm wrong... it might have changed because of the health from Armor system...

 

Where everyone deals a fixed amount of damage? I don't believe that's still in place, but I'd really love it if it was.

They Should fix the fuking nether first before we even think about competitive pvp.

No, it's like making your own custom build as if you were level 50. To make it more customizable and such

 

Well I don't know to me its like what the nether is/was like everyone said... Plus, unless this is a second account or you deleted other class a level 29 "only" as his main class doesn't look so experienced to me...
Before I came to wynncraft I was really addicted to pvp and I think you are still but now i'm more in the "MMORPG spirit" if you can say that

 

So the old Nether that they got rid of because nobody liked it?

 

Yeah I'm pretty trash right now, but being experienced doesn't mean you can't make good suggestions. I'm also not addicted to pvp, I just see the present nether as a kind of unbalanced way of pvp and having a comp or such would make it that "skill matters"

 

If everyone is level 50
Half a mythic is enough to one hit everyone

 

The nether is far from fair: int doesn't work, and my sanik sucks because I get stuck on blocks.

I'm pretty sure nether is impossible now unless you're at least level 80ish. So it definitely is not balanced anymore

 

Just gonna point out: about 5 other people have pointed this out, so I know this already...
