Quest Meaningful Holiday Adjustments

Meaningful Holiday is an excellent and involving quest, but there are some things that should be considered to improve it.

1. In the cave to Santa's Village, you have to dodge falling icicles. The 3rd wave of these icicles is just a wall, and it is extremely difficult to make it past this in time without using a horse or a movement spell. Change: make the timing between waves only SLIGHTLY slower | add a warning (like: You hear a rumbling overhead, you should probably hurry to the other side) | make the final wave drop fewer icicles.
2. After Nick gives his speech at the Holiday Ball, you are teleported to the Poor Area to witness a cut-scene involving Santa doing... who knows what. Your view is locked during the cut-scene, and I find it really irritating because the view is too far up. Also, Santa's "magic" is really odd and confusing; it doesn't add to the quest at all. Change: either allow the player control over their view, or move the view down a little | Perhaps Santa could disappear with a bang and presents could "fly" everywhere.

That's all. Though this is a unique holiday quest, I feel if some changes were implemented in a map update, it could stick around for other seasons like Craftmas Chaos.

I personally didn't had troubles with the falling icicles, but the warning sounds like a good idea for me.
I just love the idea of flying presents after Santa disappear, but for me, Santa "magic" is really cool, the falling snow with the music is just great.
Also I agree with you, the cutscene is a bit spoilt by the locked view.

 

I didn't even notice that there was falling icicles, or i don't remember. And another thing that could be changed is the fact that every time you leave the ballroom nick does his speech, you get teleported to almuj and have to wait for santas cutscene again.
