Pets & Horses Dog/wolf Companions!

Wynncraft is great multiplayer fun! However if you play solo like me, your horse and your cosmetic pets are your only company. I suggest we add mans best friend into the game! Think of adding wolves into the game like horses; except wolves can help you fight enemies!

You would spawn your dog pal with a bone. The bone functions similarly to the saddle used for horses. You would be able to purchase/breed dogs in the same way you would breed horses. Dogs can level up through traveling and assisting you kill mobs. There would be better breeds of dogs, the better the dog, the higher level it can achieve.

Mutt (5 levels): The dog equivalent to the brown horse. Could be bought for 30 eb and is the first dog you would be given. Low stats and low health, but levels up quickly.

Half Breed (10 levels): The dog equivalent to the black horse. Higher stats and health.

Thorough Breed (15 levels): The dog equivalent to the chestnut horse. Higher stats, health and attack. this dog levels up slower than the previous two.

Pure Breed (20 levels): The best kind of dog you can get. Best stats but levels up the slowest. Its also the hardest breed to breed.

This can't be added for similar reasons to why Pet damage was removed; it allows for AFK grinding.

Unless the dog is just semi-useless guardian, then it's too overpowered.

 

You could make it stop attacking if you hadnt moved for 10 seconds, for the excuse that it noticed you stopped

How about the dog has a separate xp bar? So no afk grinding... kind of a little like... *gulp* guilds...

 

that may not work, on an old server I played, I had a mob farm that auto grinded, I put a tape dispenser on my spacebar so I wouldn't get kicked.
It was sorta cool, I would be eating in the other room and id hear this sound constantly,

Hop
Hop
...
SPLAT!!
Hop (etc..)

 

and im pretty sure thats breaking a rule.

 

And if it dies, does the wolf respawn? If wolves are like vanilla ones; then they'd fall of cliffs
