World Shortened Commands | 19 Supporters

Have you ever wished that commands in WC were just a little shorter to type? Wanted to join a party/add a friend/trade quick but were in danger of being swarmed by mobs?

Enter Shortened Commands!

This would not be much of a change, more like a neat little addition :)

NOTE: The original commands will be kept as they are and will still work. Listed below are just alternatives that can be typed to replace the original lengthier commands.

LIST OF COMMANDS:

/d <player>

/party <create/invite/leave> <...>
/pa <c/i/leave> <...> (to avoid confusion with /p; also avoids leaving parties by accident)

/friend <add/remove/list> <...>

/guild <...>
/gu <...> (to avoid confusion with /g)

/class
/c

(etc., you can suggest more commands to shorten by commenting!)

Pros
- Easier and faster to type
- Saves people from getting swarmed and possibly dying while typing a command

Cons
- Could be mistyped
(For this reason, commands like /kill would be left alone so that people would not face heavy consequences for mistyping shortened commands.)

im lazy so i would love this
i guess a mod or a macro would do just as good tho

 

Maybe all of them except for the /gu and /pa.

 

Agree with the guild one, not like someone would have to type it in a really short amount of time.
Why not /party though? It could save that little bit of time for people who have to join a party while in the middle of a grind spot XD
Anyhow, these are just alternatives but the original commands are still usable

Well /g /p and /r are already confusing enough, and you should generally make a party when safe. xD

 

While grinding, I've seen many players create a party and invite someone in quick succession if they happen to see someone else using the same spot XD

 

Most grind spots have safe areas you can camp to make a party though. xD

 

A short suggestion, but good.
