Dungeons Bosses

Now, I don't want to sound like whiney player, but I probably will.

I was just trying to defeat WynnExcavation Leader Amadel, and I had two things go wrong:
1) He kept regenerating his health faster than I could lower it. Every time I got it down to around 14000, it shot right back up to 20000 (hix max health).
2) Both times I tried to defeat him, one of my spells accidentally pushed him into a wall, so that even if I did bring his health to zero, I wouldn't be able to pick up any essential items he dropped.

Granted, the first part could be solved by gathering a team to help me defeat him faster, but... there are some people out there who would just prefer to do it themselves, plain and simple. I suppose I could also be a bit more careful about where and when I use my spells, but a failsafe for that second problem would be appreciated.

 

hummmm about your first point wellll tbh if you were guaranteed to win against him and his health regen then what is the point of the fight? .____. if you cant beat him the way you are rn get a build that is suited better for beating him. Some builds naturally arent good against boss mobs due to their elemental defence. Idk whats wrong with him being hard and frustrating to fight XD He is a boss mob after all :p

 

1. You will have to get better weapons maybe you can use a poison weapon as a secondary weapon like the plague staff if you are a mage, and remember that this is an MMO you can't play all by yourself and it's also much more fun if you play with other people.
2. You can't do anything about this and I also don't think staff can, I think it's just a glitch in minecraft

 

If you're talking about Final Form Amadel, you might want to consider getting a neutral weapon. He has "rainbow" defenses so neutral damage is the best way to kill him. I've defeated Amadel solo on both warrior and archer, so it is possible to beat him if you use strategy and have a high damaging weapon.

About Amadel getting stuck in a wall, I did this when fighting him on my warrior and I actually was able to use this to my advantage. Since Amadel is ranged, I could keep him stationary, dodge his shots, and continuously damage him until he died. When he finally died, he dropped his item on the ground fine, and I finished the quest. The item can't go inside solid blocks, so it usually comes out into the arena instead.

 

Builders can fix this by making the walls thicker.

I have experienced that with other bosses - the items drops into a wall.... and have to wait like forever for the boss to spawn again...

 

In response to all this:
I did defeat Final Form Amadel; this was done using the spear Razor, which is an lightning spear, but with a high amount of neutral damage as well. However, after defeating Final Form Amadel, WynnExcavation Leader Amadel falls out and I have to defeat him also. Once again, I was trying to use razor for this, which does have a poison buff, if I remember correctly. All the same, no cigar.
And yes, it is an MMO, but unless the quest requires multiple people, I expect to be able to do it on my own, especially if the bosses are a long way down the line and it's tedious to get to them. I suppose I could also come back to it after getting a higher level, and I may end up doing just that. All the same, if the biggest problem I'm having with the boss is the fact that its health is regenerating - not that the boss is too strong, or has too much defence, or that it has too many minions (which they sometimes do, it seems), or is to fast to avoid - but that the boss is simply regenerating its health too quickly for me, something's up.

 

20k health? Thats a huge nerf you should be greatful of. I fought him when he had up to 100k health.

and it took me 4 tries to solo him .-.

 

No, his "final form" (w/ 100000+ health) now splits into a fourth form with only 20000 health

 

Wait, so they actually made him harder?

No he's easier if anything. He has barely any minions now.

btw what you're experiencing is called "Warrior Syndrome." It is the act of pushing a mob into a wall through use of war scream and sometimes uppercut.
Warrior Syndrome cannot be cured, however, some measures can be taken against it.
1) Don't war scream at a mob when it's close to a wall. You know what, don't war scream at all during a boss fight unless 1) you want resistance/strength (or your friends want the buffs) or 2) You're fighting Death and want to get all of the other bosses out of the way.
2) Don't uppercut at a mob when it's close to a wall.

 

Why is this in the suggestions tag? I personally had no problem with Amadel, but that's just me

 

all u have to do is get better gear i easily soloed him before he was nerfed and never stay in the same spot for a long time
