I am fairly sure this has already been suggested, but I wasn't totally sure and I couldnt find any other threads on the topic, so I just wanna do this.

So, many people are banned, for many different reasons. I have seen so many people just yell out stuff like "IT WAS NOTHING PLS UNBNA ME" "TWAS MY BROTHET" etc, not knowing what the proper etiquette for an appeal is. I suggest that the 'Aproved' Appeals in the Dungeons be unveiled. That way people can see what is an appropriate appeal. This would also lead on to the unveiling of Denied Appeals, but that wouldn't be necessary. (Also probably not all that kid friendly ._.)

Also, when a moderator bans someone, I think it should be a directive to the dungeons part of the forums, not just 'appeal on the forums'

If there is a prim and proper reason the Dungeons all appear devoid, I am unaware of it, so please inform me

I personally believe that ban appeals should be kept hidden.

it forces the Banned to actually think out their appeal and take the time to write a proper appeal. If the accepted appeals were to be released, they could just plagiarize and change a few words. Not very sincere. Besides Wynncraft already gives examples on what a ban appeal should and should not look like: https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/✎-appeal-submission-guide-✎.89247/

It could also create some hate towards staff members with angry banned people going "omg u unbanned fukn h@x0rXD but not me evn tho we did the sam thing" or "The wynncraft mods are biased lol, get better mods"

I agree with directing them to the Dungeons part of the forums though.

I think this could work if the writer was hidden.

Maybe the appeal submission guide can also be placed in the ban appeal section.

I think it's a great idea as long as the person that writing the appeal is censored or his named is hidden so people can't fuck with him if he writes something shitty.

I'm not sure how I feel about this, while there is the argument that their name can be hidden someone can easily just copy an appeal that got accepted and use it.
It does not provide a genuine apology for hacking or any actual emotion that we can base our decision off of.

If someone wanted to get unbanned can't he just write a bunch of bullshit and pretend like he's sorry? So then copying appeals would just make the bullshiting quicker then if they have to fake it on their own wouldn't it? Since there's no way you can differ from a genuine appeal where someone's sorry or they just want to get unbanned.

That's true, but if it does happen I'd rather have it be in their own words and not someone else's words because you can still gauge their own emotion from their words.

Maybe have it instead of Just all of em, you ask people with the best ones if you can post it as an example? this would cutdown on plagarism, as you could just run it against a small, preselected list, and also would have the same benefits

I agree. People who are banned have very little to go off on when it comes to appeals. Asking people with very very nice appeals if they can be shared would not only fix the plagiarism issue, but also give banned players a bit of background for what an appeal should look like. The same can be done for the Denied (maybe picking some with a few less curse words) and have maybe a comment in each saying what is wrong with it
