    He does fire damage
    I have over 1k fire defense

    the cooldown is like 7-8 seconds? dunno
    and it might be even more, I noticed it when I had 5k health and I got one shot lol

    Maybe it's his melee, but a lot of special attacks actually do neutral damage, and I think it is a rule for flamethrower too

    Don't just walk into the flamethrower then

    Use potions of healing and lead him into the fire pit like you're supposed to.
    I didn't have any major problems with the boss

    Corrupted Garoth inflicts 500-1150 neutral damage and 450-650 fire damage(950-1800).

    His spells deal either 70% damage(665-1260), 85% damage(808-1530), or 100% damage per hit. Your statement is statistically impossible, even if you are an Archer with no Defense skill points, as if you have enough fire defense to cancel out his fire damage, the boosted extra 40% damage he would deal to you would total up to 700-1610.
