    Minecraft:
The basic idea here is that throughout the world in major cities there will be item stalls, where players can sell items for set prices to players throughout the world. At the stall there will be an NPC, and when right clicked a GUI will be opened.

The GUI will have several buttons. These will be Previous Page, Add Items, Next Page, Collect Profit, Return Items, and Search. These will all be located in the 6th row of the GUI. In the other 5 rows there will be player heads, all representing a players shop. The heads will say the players name and rank.

You can use the previous and next page buttons to scroll through the shops. You can click one of the shops to go into the shop. Inside of here will be all of the items they have for sale. This will simply show the items as they would normally be shown ingame. In the 6th row there will be a sign that says "Left Click - Buy an item & Right Click - View item price". If you check the price, it will open a 1x9 gui and in the middle there will be an emerald, an emerald block and a liquid emerald. If you hover over each it will say how many of that type of currency is required to purchase it. If you left click an item it will put the item into your inventory, and remove the currency from your inventory. Does not work if you dont have enough emeralds.

The search button will allow you to look for specific item types. If you click it, the GUI will be closed and in chat you will be asked to type in the item you are looking for. For example, if I typed in "Freedom" all freedoms from all shops would be displayed right there for the player to see.

If you click the Add an item button a new gui will be opened. In this GUI there will be a sign saying "Left Click an item to select it. Right click it to set a price". So, if you left click an item in your inventory it will be sent to the GUI (is no longer in your inventory). If you right click the item in the GUI it will open a 1 by 9 menu. There will be an emerald, and emerald block and a liquid emerald. You can click each type of currency the amount of times you need to add more. Then you can click a check mark to confirm the price. After the price is set for your items you can click the confirm button. If you have not set a price for all items it will ask you to before you can finish. If you put an item into the GUI and you want it back you can simply press escape or left click the item. If you put an item into the shop and confirm it, and you want it back, the OWNER can left click the item in their shop. You can only add Weapons, Powders and Armor.

Players can only put in a certain amount of items. This amount depends on what rank they are. VIPs will be able to put in 10 items. VIP+ will get 20 items. Hero will get 40 items. I believe this does not go against the EULA..

Two buttons left. The collect profits button and the return items button. If you click the collect profits button, all emeralds that you have earned from selling items will be put into your inventory. If your inventory is full it will not work.

If you item has not been purchased after 3 days, it will be sent to the return items button. If you click this button, all items you did not sell are sent to your inventory. If your inventory is full it will ask you to make space. If you have more items than you can hold in the return items area, it will give you all it possibly can, and then will give you more the next time you click it. If you do not retrieve your items within 24 hours of them being placed in there, you will start receiving warning messages that they will soon be deleted if not claimed. This is so that people do not abuse the shop and only use it as a storage space. Items will be deleted 12 hours after warnings are given.

All stalls in all worlds would be linked. So if I put an item in a stall in Cinfras on World 8, someone in World 12 in Ragni would be able to view that same item. This may not be doable, but I hope that it is. If anyone knows 100% for sure, please tell me how I can change it.

That's the basic idea. I feel it would be a great benefit. It's easy to use, quick and as far as I can tell is hard to abuse. The only problem I can see happening with it is that people may not know very much about prices and get "scammed" which is the main reason I added the search button, so that people can compare prices of items. Thanks for reading! Please vote so I know what you think.

Only way these can work is if the items in the stalls are saved in a central server otherwise the other servers couldn't interact with it, also this could be used as a way to store tons of Le in

Ill make it so you can only sell weapons and armor. Also, what do you mean for the first part? Banks and stuff can interact, so can quests and books, and all sorts of other stuff. Why can't this?

Well when servers have to update they restart one at a time, banks are stored on a central server so that's how those work, think about it like this, there's a zombie loaded on one server but not the other, but there is an npc loaded on both due to their saved locations

And what server are banks stored on? I mean you can put items in and take them out on any server, so how would this be a problem with my idea? I'm just wondering whether or not it would still work.

And either way, if it is a problem I'm sure the Wynncraft Dev team could find a way around it. Look what they've accomplished so far...

I said there's only one way to do it so your initial pitch may change along the way, nothing wrong with that

    - Change the name of the 'Vendor' into 'Auctioneer'.
If you're gonna make an auction house call it an auction house.

    - Limits on the amount players can put into the AH.
And since it isn't so directly tied to EULA you can make an increased limit a perk of buying a rank.
Ex: Default has a limit of 2 items.
VIP has a limit of 4
    VIP+ has a limit of 8
HERO has a limit of 16

    - Add the con of 'price trolling'.
As in every server with an auction house, people will put trash items in for ridiculous prices, and collect tons of LE from people.

    - How would you stop scamming?
For people selling overpriced items, and people who don't know.
You would either have to have staff patrolling every page, or make a set price limit on things based on item tier.
    Probably something like -

    2Le for Uniques
    8Le for Rares
    32Le for Legendaries

If you're selling a mythic it should probably be on forums.

    A. There is auctions here whatsoever. There is a set price, no bidding or changing of price is done. First come, first serve.

    B. As for the idea of ranks getting a higher amount of items they can sell, I like the idea. The amounts you suggested though, are way too low.

    C. For scamming, people will be able to compare prices using the search tool. Search for similar items and compare the stats with prices. Also, you can still be scammed in the forums, so this is still a big improvement.

    D. The idea of set prices for item tiers is terrible. As most of Wynncraft knows, and so should you, some items of the same tier and better than others.

Even if there is no auctioning going on, in many mmo's and even the auction house plugins for minecraft, still call it an auction house.

if every person on the server was default that's 2x however many total players Wynncraft has that the server has to save. That's a lot of data the server has to keep organized.
This part isn't comparable to banking as enderchests already have their own way to keep it organized. Not only that but it isn't having to add and remove different kinds of lore based on time, playername, and price. It also just puts all the items together instead of each person having their own server box.

Yes but on the forums you have other people to help you, as opposed just a GUI and a bunch of other numbers.

Yes some items are worth more than others, that's why it's a maximum limitation instead of a minimum.
If you want to sell your item for more there are plenty of other places as well, such as the forums.

I'm not calling it an auction house. And if story.
I will consider certain values and ways to change item amounts based on what you have said.
Just as there are people to help on the forums, there's people to ask in game. As a Hero, I get asked questions related to the market quite often.
I want players to be able to set their own prices based on what they think. That's all for now.

    Perhaps a trade broker instead?
Also add a fee to put items in. like, 5% of the price you want to list it for, you have to give to the broker before adding your items.
As well as a time limit on items so there isn't a permanent flood of junk items.

You can't put in junk items, only weapons, armor and powder. And the time limit idea is good, but where do the items go?

Also for the name the word broker just sounds too modern for Wynncraft. If we can come come up with something different that is more fitting to Wynns time period, I'll change it.

Also I am changing the system a little bit. Keep checking for some updates.

The items can go in a separate GUI an "Item Claim" button somewhere on the trade broker.

i think the amout of items is a bit to high. i think it should be more like this: vip 5, vip+ 10, hero 15. sure its not that much but from my personal experience from games with ah, 5-10 item slots are more than enough for armor/weapons. because material farming and selling in wynncraft is not useful, you get all the slots for useful items

Then there is me with 3 entire classes filled with only legendaries. Basically anyone who has grinded to level 100 understands the pain. I'll see what some of my friends think and change it as needed. Thanks for the feedback!

A lot of times if they don't have a sought after maxed stat they won't sell. You could probably item buyer a ton of those.
