Ever since the Gameplay Update, VIP+/Hero players have been able to unbox cosmetic items such as pets, horse skins, and even gear skins. Common players can also purchase crates from the store. Although the system works well and is fair, I have noticed a way it could be improved: Trading. Just yesterday, I unboxed a Brown Wybel. I already owned one, so I said in chat: "Damn, something I already have." A VIP+ approached me and said, "Lucky, I keep getting attack effects and player effects I already have." I replied, "If only there was trading..."

I suggest a trading system be added, similar to the current one. To initiate, type /ctrade [PLAYER]. Doing so would prompt the other player to accept or decline. If accepted, a trade interface would be opened for both players, showing a trade menu exactly like the current one, but already filled with cosmetics. There would be a trade accept and next page button on both sides. Players could pick cosmetics to trade. Once ready, both players would accept and receive new items.

Sorry if there are any typos, I'm on mobile at the moment.

Pretty sure that Salted/Selvut said that it isn't.
He is talking about player trading.

I think this would be a good idea.
Why would it be against EULA?
    It's a cosmetic item, not p2w.
If you're talking about trading ingame currency for these items, that's disallowed by the server.
As long as they only traded cosmetics - "I'll trade you my pink wybel for your spare orange one".
    It'd be okay.

Yeah, it wouldn't be using ingame currency, players would barter for what they wanted.

    I don't see a problem with it.

Then again, Mojang sees a problem with servers making money, so they might come up with some irrational reasoning.

It doesn't matter what they say, it matters what the EULA says. And it doesn't say that this sort of thing is not allowed.
