Website & Forums Update The Gm Doc

I dunno if "Website & Forums" is the right tag, but that's besides the point

Anyways: So very much has changed since the GM doc was first made, causing the doc to become incredibly outdated. I understand that it will be time consuming to change the whole doc, but all that Salted or a experienced writer and GM has to do is look through the doc, and edit whatever is incorrect, and maybe even add other stuff.

If you look at the guidelines of making a mob, it was weird, check this out:

That is the mob guideline spread sheet, what I was talking about earlier, so since when were there a set amount of XP for each level, or a set amount of damage and health for each level, I mean was variety not a thing back then?

there are many other examples I can give but pretty much if you don't believe me, someone familiar with the game or a GM should read the doc again.

Also, I may start to be a bit more active again, the server I am working on is gonna be down for a bit, hence giving me a break!

This is a guideline, I believe. It doesn't need to be exact, but it is just to give a general idea to any new players. That is my best guess at least.

 

The doc goes against things that were implemented in the game

 

Such as?

 

Canyon of the Lost, Crop Failure, Star Thief, and more!

I think what it meant by mazes is this.

 

The emerald labyrinth is a pretty good example of that.

 

It says no tech, magic yo. Heart of Llevigar, Rise of Quartron, An Iron Heart I and II, Cowfusion, and probably a lot more I'm forgetting.

The no mazes is for no MORE mazes, especially for new GMs and such who run out of ideas.

 

the guide was written long before gavel and wasn't update since so the heart of llevigar maze is breaking that rule

 

If you pay attention on the quest, it says that they're powerees by magic. The heart of Llevigar is some "magic" creation to Llevigar citizens, and they can't understand it at all. And again app of these are GUIDELINES, they most likely to not need to be followed perfectly.
