Story Based Quests

Hello,

I am big fan of the Twain quests line, but I think there should be more story based quests around it. I would personally enjoy having quests that have a solid story line that I could follow by. It sounds like it'd be pretty interesting to have quests that are based of stories. Like maybe of story of a lost loved one (Twain for example). Stories with quests make Wynncraft better in my opinion. I don't know how others feel about this. Please make sure to let me know you feedback and what you think of this idea!

The fun thing about the Twains, (in my opinion) is that we can only speculate about the complete lore. This is quite fun, seeing as how completely confusing the lore is. There are also other quest lines, so this is already a thing. Also, no need for anymore twain quests.

 

I think they're talking about an actual storyline instead of the half baked pot brownies you guys keep accepting.

 

I'm 99.9% sure the GM's are actually working on more of these

 

Except we still don't have a real storyline. I'll admit WynnExcavation was good, but it was side quest material.
We want a real storyline that we can follow, a defined, real, antagonist.
Not just "There's corruption sort of but oh look here's a guy looking for creepers"
We don't have enough quests devoted solely to the corruption issue.
If it's such a big problem all the kingdoms would be hiring people to handle it.
People would need basements cleared of mobs.
Etc.
But instead we get to talk to a tree and walk through a gate with some magic glasses.

 

There's the small Bob Storyline which I would personally love to have more quests around. Bob's Lost Soul and Reincarnation are both fun and require the completion of other quests (Cluck Cluck, Ice Nations). Yet both lack the story-telling aspect, although we find out about Bob and how he was a legendary warrior, we as playersdon't feel that we actually know Bob or that much about him. Maybe if more Town NPC's talked about him like with Siegfried, then we make want to find out more about him before we've even done Bob's Lost Soul!




I agree with you Kra3tys, but I think that the corruption issue will be resolved when the Dern Province comes out. Also, Fruma doesn't like visitors, so maybe it's because of the risk of corruption, and only when we've completed the Dern and Corruption storyline will be be allowed into Fruma.

 

Yeah, there are some smaller story lines like Bob's Story Line And the WynnExcavation Story Line. But I would like to see a story like that involves like 15-20 quests around it. Not just a few. I'm really big into story lines specially in games. So far Wynncraft is amazing, but I want it to be better. Also increasing the level limit and adding new areas would be pretty good as well.

 

The full storyline will come when JUMLA cleans up the code. This was already confirmed

They are working on that stuff. They confirmed that Fruma and dern will come. As well as a full storyline too

 

Alright, I'm not rushing them or trying to be harsh in anyway or anything. Sorry, I didn't know that it was fully confirmed.

 

It's fine. They work hard but it's slow. That's why JUMLA wants to fix the code. That would allow more than one developer to code at once. Hopefully by then the Fruma and dern updates will be out XD

 

I wanted more quest based of that ocean (baisicly because almost all ocean quest are bad imo) or the formation of the sky islands
