World Chain Lightning Buff [20 Supporters]

after using a Hashr Claw with 2 t4 thunder powders I realized something
Chain Lightning barely does as much as 1 attack from hashr claw
I think it needs a buff so here are some ideas on how to buff it

A: Increase the range of the bolts (I can't even aim for a 10 block away mob when firing)
B: Increase the damage. considering basic powder prices of 1 LE per t4 I think that paying 2 LE for powders should get a little more than a super weak attack to 5 mobs
C: make it stun the foe for a bit (blindness, slow, and weakness)
D: make it hit more than 5 mobs
C: make it have a low chance to do 5x damage

Yeah for next time, just have yes and no

 

Now I don't know much about powders but I think the dexterity based element should have dexterity based moves, so the chance for 5x damage seems proper. (10x seems a little much)

Yeah this applies to both Wind Prison and Quake, as Quake barely does any damage, and the stun is negligible at best, and Wind prison doesn't actually give any extra damage

I think Chain Lightning is fine already, I deal 2.3k+ damage chain lightning hits as a mage. I don't even use Fatal. I can show you if you want.

with Hashr claw (a level 39 dagger capable of 1k dmg spin attacks) + 2 t4 thunder powders
I get maybe 100-200 dmg hits and 5 of them
and I'm level 48
it's really annoying because I spend tons of time charging up the special and it's as effective as 1/4th of a second of hashr claw melee

 

Ik it takes a while to charge up specials. That charge time applies to all other specials too though. I completely understand what you think is wrong.

 

with a superfast attack speed I can deliver 4 hits per second or about that many
and each of them do as much dmg as the special
EVERY SINGLE HIT

 

I think that is an exaggeration, because I have a fast attack speed and a 20% melee buff. My chain lightnings deal around 2.5x the damage of my melee hits. You probably just need better powders on your weapon.

 

I don't know about having it stun, but other than that, it really does need a buff. Honestly the only thing I hate more than it is wind prison...

 

I don't have t5s and I only have 2 powder slots on Hashr claw
so I'm doing the best chain lightning my hashr claw can do
and it's a steaming pile of weak

 

Ik that you are trying to get the best powders, but I felt that the T4 chain lightning is weak. I think the t5 and t6 chain lightnings are much stronger though. T4 powders could be the reason you don't think it damages well.
