World New Quest - The Emerald Touch - Level 91 [58 Supporters!]

Well when he's talking like that he doesn't sound like he's in trouble at all. I can try to adjust it to a level, but I want him to sound extremely sad and desperate. I mean, he is about to die after all.

Well, we don't want another bad quest like Tower of Amensia.
We want cool, fun and original quests, not Wynn quality quests

 

Ok, so...

You said the gem was green tho?

You are saying we are expected to run from Eltom to Cinfras then back to Rodoroc. Thats twice through the canyon! And even with souls thats alot of SP! Try to keep quests in a single area.

 

Canyon of the lost really isn't that hard to navigate, and with scrolls you would only lose 2SP. Although due to the amount of people who agree, I will change it as soon as I get home.

 

These places are where the commas need fixing. also, hyphen the trust-worthy part, or make it one word.

Tried to fix it reword them. Again I am very bad at grammar. If I screw it up again could you specifically say what words the comma goes between? Lol sorry

 

Changed the quest around a little bit. Now, instead of running all the way to Cinfras from Eltom, you only have to go to Thesead. Hopefully this is more managable. I also edited some dialogues, and will be editing the "spell part" later. :D

 

Like 1000 metres under? Gee, that was a great quest. I wonder who made that one?

-The starting dialogue doesn't fit well
-Bit of a fetch quest
-No clear mechanic (Gimmick)

 

Any suggestions to make it not a "fetch quest" and a clear "mechanic"? Also, how could I change the start dialogue to make it better? And it is supposed to be like the golden touch... That's the whole idea.. Hence the name Medus.

 

Well, make it like, say, Fantastic Voyage, where the key gimmick is crafting. Or the Canary Calls where the mechanic is the nausea. Even a puzzle or integrating the quest into the land, making it so something you've walked over a thousand times suddenly becomes full of reason. that's a great feeling in any quest. it's a bit like in Wynn ex D. where you have to follow the eyes to the map pieces. You've walked over those eyes a thousand times, and now they've suddenly come to life and full of reason. Now that's not the exact thing i'm telling you to do, that's the kind of thing I mean by 'substance'. something to give the quest a little bit of flair.

Also, about the Midas thing. I like the quest and the theme is quite nice. But i feel this quest could be done better. I'll leave you to figure out how.

OK, one thing. Please do not call the player a warrior. Other classes exist. Something like adventurer, savior, or anything in between...

In my opinion this is a very good and well planned quest i would like to see it coming out in the next update :)
