World Custom Weapons And Armor- A Plea For A Specialized Gameplay Experience!

I think this would be very interesting as long as it wasn't unbalanced.
Assuming this could be coded, and it was balanced, I would like to add some input.

Spoiler: Making Things

Make the option available to all levels and implement tiered items.

Make elemental themed "creation items" that drop from elemental type mobs (or perhaps mobs specifically for this purpose, like key guardians) extremely rarely. Make other themed items for bosses and such

A GUI merchant like the identifier, except you put 6 or so items into it, a weapon/armor piece, (and a possible modifier) and it gives you a list of possible identifications, and stat limitations based on element type, weapon level and tier, creation item grade, (and possibly a modifier).

Use the same plugin to name weapons as you do guilds, with just a bit of editing.

Spoiler: Finding the Items

As to how they would be found/how they would drop. You could make it so elemental themed mobs drop these on a very very rare basis, though afk builds would inevitably inbalance the system.

Instead make mobs (like key guardians, but, lets say, 100,000 more rare) that spawn all over Wynn, Gavel, Fruma, and Dern. (Just my personal guess at how long it would take to code a plugin like this).

They'll be passive/aggressive minibosses that drop a single creation item, (tier grade rarity going up with power of Id's). Each one being elementally themed of course.

Spoiler: Balancing (Sort Of)

You could prevent an economy crash by making the created items untradeable.

Im really sorry, but as much as I want to read this idea and see if crafting suggestions have evolved from "let us craft with stick pls", I'm not reading anything. I'm sorry and know you have had this conversation, but would it kill to add spoilers or a Tl;DR? I mean, I haven't read anything yet due to that reason and with the colours. Colours, eh not the best. People read in different themes, so light theme people are used to darker colours and dark themers are using lighter colours. But if you set your text to the 'none' option for colour, it'll set the text to white for dark themers and black for white themers. I don't mean anything in a hostile tone, I'd just like to suggest to you a few options to improve this suggestion, aesthetic wise.

Haha, I do somewhat enjoy this idea. Although I do wonder if it will be really hard to implement into the game using pure plugins in minecraft.
Then again, we are talking about a server who literally turned Minecraft to World of Warcraft, except maybe slightly better (Although I do suspect if World of Warcraft is actually better, I heard it's pretty good lol).

And yes I finished reading that wall of text. Keep your ideas flowing! Maybe the community won't like this idea, but you can't tell for sure when you come up with your next one! ;)

One of the things I wasn't too sure about was how you set the "skill required" for a specific item (along with the powder slots, although I do have somehwat an idea). Maybe you would like to rephrase that part to me? Some parts aren't as clear to me either, it could be just my mind being mush and all reading things late at night though xD

How do you judge if the item crafted will be boots, leggings, chestplates, or helmets? Maybe you obtain some sort of "blueprints" to allow you to set what item is crafted? Like, say.... "Blueprint of the Blue Helmet"? I think I have some idea of how this suggestion is going to work, although some people might misunderstand this suggestion. We do need to respect ya for spending such a long time to share out your suggestion to us!

I can totally relate. When Gavel came out I was hyped, when powders came out I was as confused as confused could be. I didn't even know how anything was supposed to work at all. Then, when they did the quest updates, that's when I almost gave up. However I feel that when they decide to work on a feature such as this, all the major stuff will be out of the way. Hopefully we can all get into the swing of things pretty soon
