Website & Forums Mod Bot

So I'm sure we're all getting tired of 'mods halp I threw an item into seaskipper', necros showing up on the first page of forums, and spam bots, and obviously the mods can't be on 24/7 to fix these things, so I suggest something to fix this: a moderator bot! It could do things such as
-automatically locking threads that have gone without a reply for a month
-responding to list item threads with a no refund message instantly
-locking spambot threads
-any other stuff the mods want it to do

Pros: Less work for staff
We don't have to see the same old threads over and over again
Can respond quicker than a human can

Cons: might take a while to program
Needs a dedicated computer to run it
Might mistakenly flag and lock threads that shouldn't be locked

 

this is the biggest problem
it could get to the point where players vote nearly unanimously to remove it

 

This is actually an option in xenforo forums and we used to have it enabled until 9/7/15

Problem is that it will post it on every thread which has "lost item" in it, most of them don't ask for a refund.
Let the community keep doing it.

How will it know its a spambot thread?
