Quest Items

So I had the problem that a quest item suddenly was gone out of my inventory and nowhere to be seen.
And that brought me on the following idea:

What if Staff-members have a command where they get to see a screen with all quest items. So that if someone can get an item back with the /fixquests command, a Staff-member can give the item to the person in need.
The screen could be like the Daily Reward thing. where you just see all the quest items.

By having this you won't have the problem of players not being able to finish a quest because they lost a quest item.

I hope some people can put there opinion on this and that it might be something we see in the future.

 

except y'know mods would get SO spammed. why there is a no refund even if it is a glitch

 

The Glitch currently happens when your inventory is full, there is another item on the ground, and you try to throw the quest item out. The sequence of events goes like this:
1) Throws out Quest Item
2) Player picked up other item off of ground.
3) Wynncraft yells at you (as it should) for throwing out a quest item and tries to return it to your inventory, but because it is already full, it can't be returned.

This happened to me with the Factory Helmet from 'Iron Heart pt. 1' and now I can't complete the second part.

Not sure how the staff could fix this, but a "Quest Menu" is probably not a good idea. As Baze-Blob said, the staff would get swamped. There needs to be a more automatic feature, and or another way to get every quest item in the game.

I'll think about this.

When it happened to me, I still had like 20 empty slots in my inventory and I just shift clicked them out of my bank into my inventory, than relogged and they were gone.

This indeed would happen, so there should (like you said) be an automatic way to fix this all.

For now, let's just hope other people and the staff will find a solution for this problem.

 

Hmm. There must be two glitches.

 

Wait. Does the /fixquests command not work sometimes? It restored the Item that I'd lost.

 

It should restore the quest items you lost, but with the crystals it doesn't work properly. When ever I do /fixquests I just get 2 purple crystals. However, I only mis the red crystal.

 

Hmm. When I did the command, I also got the purple crystals, even though I had already completed the quest. Strange.

 

/Fixquests ALWAYS works. I know that it is kind of glitchy with the crystals as its 2 blocks, but it will give you the item needed. If you don't have the item needed, it probably is in your bank or SOMEWHERE. That's what happend to me with the crystals. LOOK AT YOUR BANK CAREFULLY

 

I lost bob's crushed soul because I gave it to the ToL guy..
no bob weapons for me :(

 

You don't need Bob's Crushed Soul for Bob's mythic weapon. You need The Corrupted Treasure for one of his weapons. You can get this by doing the mission: Reincarnation.

 

yea I have about 27+ purple crystals because I am not good with destroying quest items and I only need 1 crystal

 

When you open your daily thing, with the compas, you can just put the quest items you don't need in there and you won't have them anymore.

 

Interesting. This is much easier than the way I have lost them before:
Full inventory with another, non-stacking item lying on the ground at your feet. Throw the quest item out and the other item gets picked up, deleting the quest item.

This is how I lost the factory helmet, but I got it back with /fixquests

 

I duplicated my Breathing Helmet I quest items 7 times

*Facepalm*

 

I know, but to get the corrupted treasure, you have to do Reincarnation.. which I need Bob's crushed soul?
