Although getting a horse to begin with on your first playthrough might be a challenge, the horse breeding Odds are what I want to talk about.

Sigh I. Hate them. 20% chance is ridiculously low for 24EB per gamble. Then, of course, there's a 50% chance of getting the same horse back. But where are the other 30%?
Downgrades. This is the worst possible idea. Yes, it might be for balancing reasons, but then just do an 80% of failing the breed and receiving the same horse. The downgrades make horse breeding incredibly frustrating and unfair.

If you ask me, either Re-balance the horse breeding odds, remove Downgrades or just make a new horse breeding mechanic which involves skill or strategy instead of braindead luck

 

Who needs economy anyway?

 

The whole downgrade in horse breeding system is there to prevent inflation in the economy

Okay, so judging on the polls people have no idea why the odds are so ridiculously low, well, for all of those players I'll tell you. Horse breeding is a blackhole meant to consume vast amounts of money with a low chance of success so it causes richer players to lose their fortunes if they're unlucky enough and prevents major inflation (cough 20 or so stacks for a cataclysm cough). So by changing the odds the economy will become more inflated than it already is. So no, they won't change it, stop complaining and buy one, or hope you get lucky.
