Well that's a big question with no precision, so here's a vague answer: anywhere from 24 EB to 64 LE.

To the original poster, there are four different tiers of horses, each greatly varying in price.

The base price for a Tier 1 Brown Horse is 24 EB. This is the only horse that can be bought directly from an NPC.
From there, you have to "breed" two horses together to reach the next tier.
You only have a 20% success rate to get the next tier horse, so if you want a higher tier you might end up spending a lot of LE. It's a gamble, so you may get the next tier on the first try or you might try 20 times with no success.

Alternatively, you can try to buy higher tier horses from other players. If you do that, you'll pay a set price rather than an unknown price.

Of course, if you only want a brown horse, just go to the horse merchant in Ternaves with 24 EB and buy one there. (Be aware that you have to have a class that has done the quest "Stable Story" before you can buy one.)

    Tier 1 is 24eb
Tier 2 is 2le and 16eb on average
I don't remember the exact cost of the rest but I'm sure someone will be happy to link my thread.
