Hi I'm sure each one of you tried to buy/sell a horse and thought "oh, that's really expensive for a horse". I'm here to bring out the truth, horses are sold really cheaply compared to their average breeding cost. WARNING: MATH INCOMING as we all know the possible outcome of a breeding operation are: 20%-successful 50%-getting the same tier 30%-getting a lower tier. well as all of you know brown horses are sold at 24eb from the merchants thus require no breeding operations. Spoiler: Black Horse I'll use 10 horses for each of my calculations, that makes 5 breeding operations going by the outcome chances 1 of the five operations will give us a black horse and the other 4 will give us brown horses (you cant get a lower tier). this means 10 brown horses gave us 1 black and 4 browns, that make a black worth 240eb (3.75le) and if we subtract the cost of the 4 spare brown horses 96eb (1.5le) we get a total worth of 144eb (2.25le) Black=2.25le (2le and 16eb) Black=2.25le (2le and 16eb) Spoiler: Chestnut Horse breeding 10 black horses will give us 1 chestnut, 2.5 blacks and 1.5 browns (there is a 50/50 chance to get either 3blacks and a brown or 2 blacks and 2browns). so a chestnut is worth 1440eb(22.5le) before we subtract the spare horses. 2.5 blacks are worth 2.5*144eb=360eb 1.5 browns are worth 1.5*24eb=36eb so 1440-360-36=1044eb(16.3125le) Chestnut=16.3125le (16le and 20eb) Chestnut=16.3125le (16le and 20eb) Spoiler: White Horse breeding 10 chestnut horses will give us 1 white 2.5 chestnuts and 1.5 blacks (there is a 50/50 chance to get either 3blacks and a brown or 2 blacks and 2browns). so a white is worth 10440eb (163.125le)before we subtract the spare horses. 2.5 chestnuts are worth 2.5*1044=2610 1.5 blacks are worth 1.5*144=216 so 10440-2610-216=7614eb(118.96875le) White=118.96875le (118le and 62 eb) White=118.96875le (118le and 62 eb) Spoiler: vip horse merchant prices Black Horse 1le Chestnut Horse 10*1le=10le for a chestnut before we subtract the other horses 2.5 blacks =2.5le 1.5 browns =36eb chestnut costs 444eb or 6le and 60eb White Horse 10*444eb=4440eb (69le and 24eb) before subtracting additional horses 2.5 chestnuts = 1110eb (17le and 22eb) 1.5 blacks = 1.5le white costs 3234eb or 50le and 34eb Edit: thanks to @Kepler_17c the info is now on the wiki! Check it out here! I made a chart that calculates the prices automatically so you can play with the percentages and prices by yourself https://1drv.ms/x/s!Ahpn4fzjnxnrtVhbz7lJwRuF3D5H If you have any questions/corrections to make about my calculations you are more than welcome to post them.
