Tower Of Amnesia +42 Support!

My original post:
So I just did tower of Amnesia again...
First of all, it was way too easy now that I can buy all the scrolls except the Selchar one from Nesaak.
It's useless because you can reset skill points for soul points now. Lastly, it gives no xp. WTF.
It wasn't a bad quest, but because of the new update I think it should definitely be reworked.

Now on to the good part.
How I think it should be fixed:
- The quest should give you the ability to reset your skill points with soul points instead of allowing you to buy "skill point reset scrolls."

- Instead of getting town tp scrolls, the objective of the quest should be one of the following:

A. The usual boss. "To prove you're worthy of entering the Tower of Amnesia, kill (insert name here) and bring me back proof that you killed him."

B. Or, to keep the theme of going to all the towns, add a "token merchant" in all the cities that sells an untradable token. Each city would have a different token. To make sure no one is buying them from other players and "cheating" the quest, make them untradable. This also prevents players from going to Nesaak and buying everything you need to do the quest.

- Since the tower would have no real use now that there are no skill point reset scrolls, I suggest adding a line of text saying something along the lines of:
[Through studying in the Tower of Amnesia, you have gained the ability to reset your skill points.]
[Though it comes at a cost, you will lose part of your soul.]

- The quest rewards would be: access to the tower, roughly 5000 xp (pretty much normal for level 25) and the ability to reset skill points in your compass.

Edit: One more thing unrelated to the quest: Get rid of the barriers on the windows since there will not be a merchant. I miss jumping out of the windows.

My idea would be to implement a sort of memory paranoia type of thing were you are sent back to fruma to relieve your memories of the past.

 

Wow this is actually a good idea I'd prefer option B though.

Tbh, this isn't a bad idea, but I think we can find better replacements. If we used your idea to complete the quest, skill reset scrolls are still pretty useless, so I wouldn't bother.

 

I'm saying get rid of skill reset scrolls. Read the first paragraph of section two please.

 

i go into the tower pretty ofter for the chest because its nearly always full because nobody goes up there but i just want to teleport out the windows.. please i dont want to always go all of the stairs again qq

 

What if each town had a boss in it you'd need to kill to get the token? A mix of both ideas! I don't want another start at one level but finish many levels later unless you are carried the entire way quest but if done well (and you didn't need to grind tons of enemies) I think it could work pretty well, go to towns, fight a boss there which could be like it's own small quest and move on to the next.
