World Emerald Traders

I returned from an expedition into the red clay canyon. I entered Rymek full of emeralds and loots, i traded all and, full of emeralds, I went to the bank to trade my emeralds for emerald block, but in the Rymek bank there aren't emerald traders! I know, there are Dealer Merchants, but I already have gold and I needed to compress my emeralds into an emerald block.
I have two suggestions:
1. Adding emerald traders to the Rymek bank;
2.Rymek Item buyers trade by gold ingots;
I think one of those two suggestions is enough, but I hate every time going to the bank of Almuj or Detlas and then back.

Rymek is sort of an isolated small city, so you can't really blame it for not having that much amenities. Also, it would be kind of strange to use gold for item buyers.

 

Yes, i've already thaugt it, but if you go in Rymek, you will notice that the NPCs use gold for all tradings( junk items, mushrooms, scrolls, potions,...) the only two NPCs that are using emeralds are item buyers and the identifier. I think they should change them to use gold instead of emeralds expecially because Rymek is an isolated city.
I thin it so, what about you?

also why do you go to Rymek, have you not looked at the map? (not offensive to you)

 

Actually it takes a few seconds since merchants are sign-based :3

 

You dont have to code merchants, they are an entity that can be duplicated with a single command block.

 

But there are no commands involved either :p
You just place a sign, and write some lines below where the merchant should spawn.

But what would you need to do with gold? Nobody would sell their items at rymek, unless it was some sort of currency for another city, or like wybel currency or something XD

 

I know, i know. But Rymek is an isolated city! And for this i think they sould imlement the things i said before. But if you aren't agreeing with me, it's ok. I shared only my opinion about it.

 

you just change the code from an emerald to a gold bar and rename it... not that hard
