World Mission Npcs

    Currently missions are three things:

    kill # (mob) in # minutes for # xp
    find # (chest) in # minutes for # emeralds
    duel # (players) in # minutes for # emeralds

    These missions can be strange and out of place at times, but I have a suggestion. To make these missions NPC characters. Another element that could be added to these missions is access only after certain missions (ex. Access to Fat Albert after "A Confused Farmer")

    These NPCs would not actually give you missions, they would give important background text. For example:

    Name: Fat Albert
    Location: Deltas Suburbs
    Level of Missions: 15 - 30
    Example of mission : Bovine Beatdown (Level Requirement 18) Fighting Mission

    Answer if "A Confused Farmer" is not completed:
    Fat Albert [1/1]: Who are you!? Get out'a my house!

    Answer if no available missions (or close to server restart)
    Fat Albert [1/1]: I dun' have nuthin' for you to do right now, go away.

    Answer if missions are available
    Fat Albert [1/2]: Hey! Wanna get sumthin' done fo' me?
    Fat Albert [2/2]: Talk ta my assistant in ma' house.

    Talking to the assistant will open up a window with up to five options:
    Delivery Mission availability(yes/no) (name) (level requirement)
    Fighting Mission availability(yes/no) (name) (level requirement)
    Looting Mission availability(yes/no) (name) (level requirement)
    Dueling Mission availability(yes/no) (name) (level requirement)
    Random Mission availability(yes/no) (????) (level requirement)

    These missions ask you to do exactly what their name entails. Each mission can only be done once per (period of time, not sure). Random missions tend to be harder, random (obviously), and give better rewards. (Emeralds, xp, some loot)

    When a mission (colored head) is selected, another window pops up, asking for assurance. If you say yes, the mission (with the name and goal) will appear where the original missions appear. The missions would be longer that the missions we have now. (Ex. Deliver Albert's crate to the Selchar bank in 15 minutes. Find 5 sets of normal boots and give them to Albert in 20 minutes)

    Once a mission is completed, the timer disappears and a message will appear (Ex. Go back and talk to Fat Albert)

    Fat Albert [1/1]: Thanks! Here's ya reward.

    This is just an example of a mission NPC, and all the things that it could do. Mission NPCs could be added in mid-to-high level places as well, to give players something to do besides grinding for xp. Rewards could be balanced, which is why I haven't added them right now.

    I added this to try and make Wynncraft a little less grindy, while also getting rid of the old funny missions. I also did not see this anywhere on the forums, just people posting dumb missions (Guys lets kill 30 Arakadicuses in 2 minutes! :D)

    Well, it's great, but the quest system has to be redone (and it will be in the future, cuz the current system is getting old)

    I know, I will. It's about balancing rewards (like not giving a level 10 5 le) But I'm thinking of ideas.

    Yes, I know, but they can't change those tags just because of the current system. Have you noted that all the NPCs have "NPC" instead of "Quest NPC" ? (or maybe it's just me ? idk)

    I'm pretty sure the lore NPCs just say "NPC" While things that are used in quests are "Quest NPCs"

    If need be, they could just be called "NPCs" because you don't get the mission from them anyway. You get them from the other npc
