What Mythic Armor Should Have Been Like

(Before reading, a disclaimer - of course I appreciate everything the content team has done for item design, balancing, etc. It's incredible what you guys do. But, a lot of people don't like how some things are made.)

Mythic armor is in the game.
And a lot of people are pissed, including myself somewhat.
For one thing, the CT had announced that mythic armor would never happen. What changed that? Another thing is that the mythic armor pieces added in the 1.14.1 Gameplay Update mostly have some sort of gimmick, and others are useless. The entire point of Discoverer is to give loot bonus and has no other usefulness. Boreal is focused around Fire stats (hp regen, etc) but heavily reduces all fire damage and defense. Warchief reduces all defenses for a very small damage buff. So, how could they be better? I have an idea.

8 Pieces of armor. 2 helmets, 2 chest plates, 2 leggings and 2 boots.
Each armor piece would be dedicated to combinations of elements, just as the weapon mythic are.
Yet, the 5 elements would be split up between the 2 pieces. You may have a fire/thunder helmet, and a earth/water/air helmet, as an example.

This would allow and encourage people to spread out their element usage and focus on builds with more possibilities. There will be an option for pretty much any build.

I made an example of 2 pairs of pants - the stats aren't really that important (don't say "omg those pants are so OP pls nerf" in the replies, just focus on the idea).

I think it would help if we knew the reasoning behind Salted making the current mythic armor the way it is.

 

Oh my gosh I agree with you!!! This is needed on so many levels!!!!!!!!!!!

 

You know, I'm pretty sure the GMs don't get to make mythics and Salted does that. I would like to know the reasoning for having so many boots.

The armor really is flawed for the reasons you stated and really should be changed

 

How to you make those items? I think there was a generator but I didn't find it ;--;

do note that my generator's a bit outdated ("Slots" rather than "Powder Slots" and no powder adding functionality, so you can't troll people with your spoopy op weapon, and no asterisk thingy (but if you have some JSON knowledge, you can fix that manually))

Hm is it me or does hailstorm seems a bit strong in my opinion
Perhaps increase the negatives slightly.

I did say I liked the idea though.
But since there are more than 2 mythic boots.... are they going to have to remove some of them, or add even more mythic armors?

No offense, but the first armor piece is horrible in my opinion. Then again, I'm one of those assassins who can't play unless they have a 14/s+ mana regen stat.
