Guys, I understand that you can't take this seriously, but most of you are kinda being disrespectful in the aspect of WHY they want it removed, everyone is free to have their opinions, just don't express them so bluntly and rude like that.

That aside, I disagree that it should be removed, the twelve zodiac signs are what Wynncraft was intending, not the actual illness that is serious.

 

I would love to say it is, but the lore is a bit touchy also the jokes made on this helmet need to stop, it just furthers my belief we're doomed as a species.

That is true, but the purpose of the name still stands. The owner of this thread never mentioned to change the lore, just the name. If they did reason the lore and the name didn't go together well without it referring to cancer, that would be a complete different thing. "Guys I don't like the name of Cancer, please change it." vs "Guys, I don't like how Wynncraft has tied the lore into cancer, when it's supposed to mean the zodiac sign."

 

But do you really think new people will see the lore and go OMG DAS A CRAB

I don't, but that is not the purpose of this thread I am saying. From the evidence and reasoning they gave us on why to remove it, they never mentioned the lore.. Of course you may realize that, but the owner of the thread did not. Another thing is, this is their server. In the end they have the final say, so we can't really do anything about this problem

 

I understand why you want it removed - cancer (the disease) is a big thing. It's scary.
However, changing the name would mess up the lore and the Zodiac armor, so...

Also, how is a PLAGUE related at all to CANCER? Is cancer contagious now? That's a big surprise to me.

The lore can barely be connected to actual cancer, and saying that humanity is going downhill because not everyone agrees with your opinion... neither validates your beliefs.

And since when does an individual having a bad experience with a word suddenly open it to being removed? As all the other sarcastic comments suggest, nearly any item could be removed should that be justified.

Because something offends you doesn't mean you will not need to deal with it.
