[idea] Class Transfers

ok reworking the entire idea
damn i suck at this



so basically
you can choose once if you want to wipe your other class of all its stats then transfer all of the original stuff to another class.
requirements:
you have to be below lvl 60 on the class you want to wipe your stats on.
your other class must be below lvl 30.
you have to have 50 le.

If you have like a 101 mythic wand on archer. but your mage is only lvl 55, then you're thinking 'oh ok lemme just wipe my archer clean then become op af on mage.



no.
so basically you can't bring any weapons, only armor and stuff like that.
so you better have money on you because you'll need to buy a new weapon.

Oh hey I got a mythic wand on my lvl 101 archer, but my mage is only lvl 55 wtf. I know, lemme just use some hack swaps and get op without doing any grinding or hard work because I'm lazy

Translation - This takes out hard work

 

Step 1: make a new character
Step 2: grind/quest

It's not that hard. There are only four classes and they are fairly balanced. Playing one from the start gives you a feel for it, too. Besides- if you have a class that "sucks" and you want to switch, what's to say you won't think the other three suck too?

 

great idea. i think you should make it so when you swap it completely erases all your progress on both characters.

 

Then why bother have classes at all?

 

By making this, you wipe both, you'll have these 80 lv. gear, wands and accessories for your lv80-now archer. too op and too up.

Wait.. I'm not getting this..
So the idea is that you pay 50le, instead of doing this:
• Put stuff in enderchest
• /Class
• *create new class*
• Open enderchest and take the stuff

?

Didn't read you meant quests and levels aswell..
Imo this is a really bad idea, just make a new class and level it up, once you have a lv100 of each class you could just to the steps ^^ (Above) except the creating a new class part.

IF THIS WAS ADDED:
People would make archers and farm to 100, then switch to another class that they like more as Archers are much more easy to level up.
^^ Not a good thing.

 

I see what you mean with the update, but it doesn't make the idea any better.
- Most people under level 60 do not have 50LE.
- Level 30? I could get to level 30 in a weekend. No need to erase a character for that.
- Basically nothing but level transfers, which doesn't make sense. The bank system would still be in use to transfer the items.
This idea has way too many problems, at this point it's beyond repair.

Here's how I think your idea should work:
You are able to choose to swap characters any time before level 30 for free. All quests, items, etc. will carry over. The current level 30 would be deleted instantly, and the new one would be created. You will be provided with a weapon based on your level so you aren't stuck with a weapon that's not your class. After this first time using the feature, you may never use it again.

(If you put my revision in your thread add me in as a Contributor, considering this fixes your completely broken idea)
