    Collector Merchant

Instead of being a regular merchant that opens a GUI upon interaction, a Collector Merchant will behave like an NPC. Collector Merchants appear in major cities, for example Detlas, Almuj, Troms, Selchar, Llevigar, Cinfras, Thesead and Ahmsord.

Upon interaction, the Collector Merchant will randomly generate an item name within 4 levels of the player level (if the player is level 60, the Collector Merchant will name an item between level 56 and level 64). The dialogue might look something like this:

[1/1] Collector Merchant: Hello there! Lately I have been really fascinated by the rare dagger [Arakadicus' Maw]! If you can find me one, I will generously bestow you with [17 Gold Coins]!

Naturally, the amount of Gold Coins you receive will depend on the item. Normal items will never be mentioned. Depending on the level, unique items give 1 ~ 3 Gold Coins, set items give 2 ~ 6 Gold Coins, rare items give 4 ~ 18 Gold Coins, legendary items give 8 ~ 72 Gold Coins and mythic items give 16 ~ 360 Gold Coins (more like 200 ~ 360 because there's no mythics under level 60).

Items with high tier are much more unlikely to be requested by Collector Merchants. The merchant may ask for 1 mythic for every 500 uniques he asks for.

Upon the second interaction, one of the following happens:

If the player does not happen to have the requested item in their inventory, the Collector Merchant will repeat its previous text once again.

If the player has the requested item in their inventory, the Collector Merchant will say:

[1/2] Collector Merchant: Oh my! That's an [Arakadicus's Maw]! To think I would have the chance to even see this magnificent dagger!
[2/2] Collector Merchant: Please sell this to me! I will give you [17 Gold Coins]!

When this happens, the player will be greeted with a GUI titled "Sell the item to the Collector Merchant?"

The player can choose Yes by placing the item in the GUI and clicking the green tick. Otherwise the player can click the red cross next to the green tick. If yes, the item in the GUI is removed and the player obtains the promised Gold Coins.

If no, the player will exit the GUI and met with this message:

[1/1] Collector Merchant: That's unfortunate, here's [2 Gold Coins] as a thanks for showing me the item. Please come back tomorrow!

If the player exits the GUI without making a choice, the Collector Merchant will pretend you never showed him the item and say this again upon interaction:

[1/2] Collector Merchant: Oh my! That's an [Arakadicus's Maw]! To think I would have the chance to even see this magnificent dagger!
[2/2] Collector Merchant: Please sell this to me! I will give you [17 Gold Coins]!

Each player can only get one item request from one Collector Merchant every 24 hours. This should be saved in each player's individual data. Different classes will not yield new item requests.

After the Collector Merchant has made a deal with the player (no matter if you ended up selling it or not), he will say this when you talk to him:

[1/1] Collector Merchant: Thanks for your help, please check back tomorrow!

So yeah. This allows players to sell items with shit IDs to other players who got it as an item request from a Collector Merchant, since Collector Merchants don't care about their IDs. Also wouldn't be surprised if people actually sold their Mythic to this guy.

What a unique idea. Not only is this a way to create a market for underused and overlooked items, it provides a method of getting that good ol' gold.

I agree because since they aren't to be bought with money we should get a way to obtain them in game so everyone can get dxp and stuff with a bit of saving up.

Lets not forget that Wynn still needs to make money to survive and improve, so I think these gold coins should only be able to be used on pets, disguises, party bombs, and maybe some special player particle effects.

    Sounds neat though.

This suggestion would tie in perfectly with mine, but these gold coins should just be able to be used on what I just suggested (my message here that you quoted).

Well, we can't say much about that until we see how they revamp the shop
Maybe that would be good, maybe his suggestion would be better
Maybe neither would make any sense
