the powders would add around 16 extra average base damage, making it even better than az with 2 t6 powders. and converting neutral damage to elemental damage doesn't actually add damage, it actually makes it worse since it can be resisted.

i'd rather set a lv. 95ish quest requirement; why not trade them?

 

dunno, imo they just seem like an item that shouldnt really be traded
but a quest requirement sounds decent

 

Are you taking the element boosts from the skill points required to use the weapons into account?

 

no because you can either do a 100% dex for az or a 33% split for the other elemenrs and get the same percent boost

 

Super fast attack speed>fast attack speed

 

The neutral usually doesn't do as much with spells, for example something like gaia.

And, maelstrom is FAST attack speed. Az can do 4-25k bombs with powders and maelstrom can only do around 6k bombs.

 

get yourself some electrically charged pants

 

That doesn't effect spell damage.
