Short story. Rode to Ice Canyon for loot running-as I rode up to the small cave with the loot IV, I got off my horse and it put me inside a wall. I tried to do /class to see if it spawns me outside the wall, but it didn't. I /kill-ed and when I got back to the loot IV, I have to wait 22 minutes.

Fuck this. I can bet that this isn't supposed to happen. I am absolutely sure /class isn't supposed to trigger the loot chest cooldown(loot chest cooldowns were annoying from the start). It makes us having to unnecessarily wait to open a loot chest.

Changing this won't break the game, since loot chest cooldowns are only initiated when you switch worlds, to prevent game-breaking lootrunning. Even if you station another class at a particular loot chest area, it won't affect anything since the loot chest will have to respawn after being looted.

The reason that there's a cooldown after doing /class is so that people don't camp loot IV chests :P

Loot chests take time to respawn after being looted, so I don't see why is that an issue.

You can have 10 classes on 10 different loot routes for 10 different level ranges, class change after every route, ez profit.

oh, I didn't know about the wait time thing, and yea, it will have junk, but it's the same for all chests, but IV are somewhat better

Also note once you swap server you have to still have to wait. This is getting rid of the /class reset not the just joined the world reset. You could be in the game for 1 hour and then do /class and come back if you maybe had to afk in a bit and when you come back you can't get a chest even though you've been on for a while.

I'm pretty sure they get better loot over time, if you camp and collect as soon as it respawns you get almost nothing. You still need to wait if you want good loot.

The loot chest cooldown is only supposed to be activated when you switch servers. Doing /class only resets the timer because of a bug. As far as I know, /class isn't supposed to reset the timers.

The timers are supposed to prevent people from finding a tier IV chest, and switching servers to re-loot it over and over again.

    Did you even read

The timers are activated when you switch classes, which I believe is unintentional. I support timers being activated when you switch servers to prevent easy lootrunning.

No, what we want is to get rid of it resetting when you do /class. The timer from joining a server stays but it is annoying if you have been on for a while, do /class to use a bank class or whatever, swap back and find a loot chest that you can't loot.
