World Elytra In Wynncraft?

Hey, you`ve found another one of my suggestions! Cool, elytra in wyncraft? We all though it was gonna happen in the corkus update. But it was just a joke. Or was it? Heres my idea on how to implement elytra into wynncraft. First off, how to get it? Well, to get it, your first going to need to be atleast lvl 75 or higher to be able to use this item. {if you have one under 75, the game will take it off your chestpiece slot if attempting to put it on, with an additional text msg in chat saying you cant use this item! your not strong enough! Or something similar} now to actually get the elytra you`re going to need to complete a new quest {The Lost Bird} once you've completed this, the quest npc will reward you with a broken elytra, in order to use the elytra youre going to need to go to detlas and find the "Repair Merchant" depending on how broken your elytra is, it will cost more money to repair, if its completely broken, it'll cost around one LE to fully repair, once you've repaired it you can now fly! But wait. Where can u fly it? Off Mt.Wynn? A tree? Nope, the elytra you received gives you infinite flight using a special plugin, {or command block magic :)} to allow you to fly infinitley around the world! But, what if people try to fly out of the map? Simple, Put Barrier Blocks Around The Walls of the map! and to prevent people from flying to high, a plugin or command block will simply tp them back down to a safe height, and put in chat, Don`t go so high! Or something similar. That`s My suggestion make sure to vote

 

I think this would be a great idea, but first of all, where would the Quest NPC be? What do you do in The Lost Bird?

 

There's a reason flyhacks aren't allowed in Wynncraft. Flying would break so many things it isn't even funny. Plus, there goes any and all difficulty if you're a ranged class. Archers would be master race, ranged mobs would be the only ones who could stand a chance, and SO GODDAMN MANY quests and areas would have to be reworked to account for flight. If it worked on a cooldown bar, like the new sprint bar, that might be more reasonable, but even still..... just no.

 

Flyhacks arent allowed. But the elytra isnt hacking. The Elytra is legit minecraft. It is not cheating. Although the archer would be overpowered. Maybe they could disable the archer bows when the elytra is used. There is a reason to have an elytra, but not to hack to use it.

Just...why? This would utterly break the game in every single way.
Fuck horses, fuck walk speed, fuck the seaskipper, fuck transportation spells, fuck scrolls, and fuck all the non-ranged classes, everyone can fly now! Whoopee!

 

What he's saying is a that flying, just like flyhacks, would break wynncrafy, no matter the method.

 

Yes but, it wouldnt break the gameplay. It would just be a quicker style of moving than walking/sprinting or riding a horse. It would disable whenever your attacked for 10 seconds. Then the game would be the same. Or they could make it so it only enables elytra when not doing a quest. Or in a quest required land.

 

*sigh*. This has been suggested MANY TIMES, and the answer has always been NO. Reason? TOO OP. Case closed.

 

There are still others out there with the same idea. Eventually it will be voted 8 yes to 4 no <--- just a guess. not real

 

But they are not Salted, Grian, or Jumla, who won't accept this idea.

A suggestion could have 1 million supporters, but it doesn't mean it has to be added.

 

With the right height, you could fly around half the province in no time. Not to mention how you could "cheat" at parkour.

Personally don't like this idea, for a few reasons. One of them being that it will just make Wynncraft not feel like Wynncraft, another one being lag for some people.

 

The idea is good but I don't think it will be possible because elytra is not in 1.8 version. Most of ppl uses 1.8.9 like me because they aren't glitching that much.
Anyway, the only place where elytras could be used are in some quests but not in normal world as a transport
