Why The Az Nerf Was Too Much, And How To Fix It.

...Chakram was buffed? It inflicts more poison...

 

I went from doing 2500+ 79 damage per spin attack to 800+ 300 per spin attack so. Also the damage boost given by the +tier attack speed only somewhat negates the -25 base damage (363 damage per second previous, 370 damage per second now). I might revisite it some day but for now I'll be using Rewind.
(Also didn't everything that inflicts poison have the poison buffed?)

 

So, your build was based around the flaws in the attack speed tier ID?

 

Not intentionally. It was actually a walk speed build, with some (albiet very little) damage boosts to both melee and spell damage, by way of a thunderous step.

Also I should probably point out that Bull, a rare level 63 dagger, does more damage per second than Chakram, has more spell damage, and gives a health and melee bonus

Bull also is Very Fast rather than Chakram's Super Fast and requires no skill boosts, along with having no boosts to element damage, while Chakram's dexterity requirement, element damage ID, and Agility boost bump its damage up.

 

Forcing a requirement doesn't make a weapon better, it makes it worse. For example, instead of relying on dexterity the player could use strength to have a more reliable source of damage and a melee build if they wanted to, or higher agility for survivability and air damage.

 

And yet, the elemental damage boost from Dexterity increases Chakram's damage significantly from the base.

Taking this to a logical extreme, Alkatraz - Strength requirement = a really friggin awful weapon. Az would be probably a little bit underwhelming without its dex requirement.

 

Fk az, tier attack speed and my crossroad (and possibly wallbreaker in the future) ftw, with some contrails and raging winds and some spell damage items to buff the items

 

Az is not nerfed for me at all, I still do the same dmg I did before

 

Soo does the nerf affect all Az, or just Az obtained after the nerf? I was kinda building a Dexterity Archer and now I'll have to rethink everything unless I can obtain Az pre-nerf, since I think some of the other bows are just better now.

 

Can someone show me pictures of the old az and the new az? I'm not an archer and I'm not a mythic collector so I have no idea what the stats were
