Can We Just Talk About How Amazing The....... System Is?

Greetings everyone! As many of you may know in the Gameplay Update that will be coming out in a week or two they are introducing a Sprint Bar! When you run out of sprint you need to wait a couple of seconds-minutes before you can sprint again. There are so many new possibilities with this new system.

The main reason I'm so excited for this change, is that it'll feel much more like a RPGMMO, like Skyrim, or most of the Elder Scrolls games. It can also possibly open up new identifications such as "Energy Regeneration" which speeds up the time of which you need to wait to sprint again, or just overall increase your sprint bar.

Parkour, yes this could create new parkour features such as ones where you cannot stop jumping and you have to finish the course before your sprint runs out!

Just wanted to share this with everyone, I'm definitely most hyped about this, the boats, and the quest update/revamps.

You don't have to be rude, the point is that he is excited about the sprint bar and he is sharing ways the sprint bar could be used for new systems and how it will change the game :).

There is a clear defined point of this thread? Praising the members of the content team for creating this because let's be honest they get a lot of shit from the players whether it's intended to be a joke or not. Another is like someone already mentioned, put my own thoughts on how it could affect the game. It's not like I put a spoiler tag and said "OH SHIT DID U GUSZ SEE DIS????? OMG SPRINT BAR COMING!! IT'S TOTALLY NOT ON THE FRONT PAGE AND THE OFFICIAL SITE ERHMAHGAWD THIS IS AMAZING U GUIZ NEED TO CHECK IT OUT LINK HERE"

 

I really hate raining on people's parades, but I seem to remember @Selvut283 saying that adding new IDs to pre-existing items would be difficult. I think he said it would require resetting all items, or at least the affected ones, back to being un-IDed, like when Gavel came out.

 

Honestly as much as I hate to say it, adding a new id would most likely result in them having to un-id everything because they would have to add that id all spread out on items, and they couldnt just add it to already id'd items, and i know how people felt about losing their amazing ids after gavel came out

 

I mean you could just add them to new items, and maybe reset SOME that would make sense, like the one pair of leather boots in Ragni that was sold by armor merchant, it gave like 2 Agility.

 

I mean it would add another ID unique to agility because the only one right now is Walk Speed
