Archer Bow Shooting

Right now you right click with your bow, then a arrow just flies out.

If you could make more animation to it, or just make it so it looks the same, as before gavel.
It could be an amazing thing to have back. It just gives a little bit more than you right click and a arrow flies out of nowhere.

Animating the bows fully would take ages. The arrow doesn't fly out of nowhere, it flies from the bow. Even on the vanilla bow there's no arrow in the bow, the string just gets pulled back.

Actually after 1.9 there is an arrow in the bow.

 

He's referring to the actual 3D models of the bows themselves, you would have to model every frame of animation for all the bows, which would take a while.

 

there hasn't been for 5 years, then, and nobody complained about that

 

i mean if it gets faster as you level up that would be pretty cool....

 

But he was also talking about the vanilla bow.

 

I think it was only designed to be balanced. Bows were being shot after 2-3 seconds, but spears wands and daggers were being used the same times as we clicked
