A Teaser Analysis, And "theories" About The Future Of This Server.

With the new update coming “soon”, there’s bound to be plenty of cool stuff coming up. So I decided to make this, a group of theories and whatnot about what’s coming soon. Hopefully this doesn’t turn out to just be a list of what's coming, there are a few theories (more like speculations compared to what most people on here call a theory.) too. I would have just posted this in the changeblog comments, but since I got my "info" from multiple threads I might as well just post it in the Wynncraft section.

You don't have to read everything, I split this into spoilers. In fact you don't have to read it at all, I wrote more than I should have.

Spoiler: Dungeons

Alright, Changeblog 4 told us some cool stuff!

- New bosses, hype!
- Timing? Looks like dungeons either have a stressful time limit or a recommended time. I hope its the latter.
- Corrupt Dungeons sound cool, I'm curious where they'll be. Wynn is the corrupt provence in it only goes up to level 75. Maybe they'll be in the Roots of Corruptions (Please tell me they replaced the nether...)

Spoiler: Quests and NPCs

Ever since the Wynnter update was released, there have been quest NPCs that aren't in a quest. I'm assuming that this will be a thing all around the game. Want to know more about Detlas, talk to an NPC! Want to learn about powders, read a book NPC! EDIT: confirmed that NPCs aren't just for quests.

A quest about impressing a chef at level 96? This reminds me of an "easteregg" in the sky islands about Gordon Hamsay... looks like we'll finally meet him.

Skein's island in a quest? It's possible. Why else would they make the island so big, just to hold one cow? (Reincarnation isn't being changed) Selvut also teased new Skeins island on his page, the area must have some use...

Spoiler: Items

This is a bit minor, but it appears that there will be more viable item combos now, with there being 300+ new items, some of them mythics! 2-3 of these items could be from that contest on the old forums, which Selvut has managed to revive.

Kind of off-topic, but hopefully cacti will finally be fixed next update. Fucking cactus builds, with the new update they'll be even more broken. WE WON

Spoiler: Textures

It seems as though more textures were added, according to the newest changeblog. There's a wierd yellow sprite used in the Character Info, this will (probably reset your skills). Citizens in the jungle and ice nations also have unique skins.

Spoiler: Interactive Features and Suggestions.

Rymek elevators? I sense some command or quest-like magic here. I wonder if there will be more stuff like this across the game, features such as the rocket pads in Molten Heights. That would be cool.

And this reminds me of a suggestion on the forums, about interactive stuff. It was made by @(Meric) , and the community seemed to like it. I doubt the staff just got the idea from him, but that brings me to the topic of community suggestions.
- Boats. A certain kitten has a popular boat suggestion up right now. I feel like boats haven't really gotten much support in the past, have the staff actually noticed a suggestion?
- Lotem's Better Quest Books. If we can track quest coordinates, maybe some of his suggestions will also be added. We can only hope...

Spoiler: Mobs and Towns

Mobs are one of my least favorite features in the game right now. They're honestly boring and while they have creative appearances, in the end they're pretty similar. And also annoying. If any gameplay feature needs a change it's this one. okay that's enough ranting.

Salted has said that some mobs will be less annoying. What does this mean? Will towns now be safe from the terror of wendigos and werewolves? Or will they be improved? Either way works for me.

In conclusion I feel like Wynncraft will have some exciting new stuff coming not just this update, but "soon soon". I'll try and find more stuff to add here, I pretty much just searched through all of Salted's posts to find this. Suggest speculations in the comments or something?

I hope multiple-spell enemies appear now. And just new spells for mobs in general.

 

With ??? Maybe you have to do more to do the thing, maybe there is more during or after the thing with the guy, or maybe it is a whole new version of the quest. Who knows.

I think this update will fix a lot of problems with the game and make it a lot better!

At last, that annoying bug with threads and tags was fixed. Bumping this, working on updating this also due to the new changeblog.

New changeblog posted! I'm working on updating this as I speak.

 

Why are you "theorists" referring to these as theories? A theory is supported by evidence, what you are doing is either hypothesizing or sharing expectations. Spouting known information and sharing hopes doesn't turn it into a theory. Unless you have solid evidence to support outlandish claims, refer to yourself as a hypothesizer.
