World Voting For Gc

It seems a reasonable request to me to be able to vote for a currency that will be able to be used in the shop. I asked around, and people seemed to agree. I think 5+ some currency that can be used in the shop per vote would be fine, and if you vote every day for a week it doubles and so forth. (Will double only once)
Pros: People can get pets and shouts without paying, but the server still benefits from votes. More players will stay if they can get faithful pets, item bombs, and shouts without paying! More players with more votes.

Cons: less money flowing in initially.

Well, considering that they're planning on using Chinese sweatsho- I mean selling merchandise, this seems like a good idea.

 

The EULA prevents this from being possible. It creates a hybrid currency which is illegal by the set standard. This will either cause the server to get shut down for breaking the EULA, or force us to shut down the GC shop.

@Selvut283 There are ways around that, for example another form of GC for voting that is part of a different shop, perhaps VC (Voting Credits)

I completely disagree. The fact that people could vote for GC is ridiculous. Any exp bomb or item bomb or loot bomb can be rewarded by anyone. Not just one person.

 

Or you couldmake a new currency cause the EULA

@LeoDiesAlot They could balance the system out, give less currency then donating so it would take a lot longer but possible. and as he said it does support the server on listings.

 

Although yes, they can do it another way, it doesn't make sense. Everyone benefits from any of the items, along with the fact that if people want the server to grow, you shouldn't need to benefit from it. I think they should finish the updates they have had planned since Gavel I.E powders before they really attempt to grow as a community. Don't get me wrong, I love wynncraft. But plenty can be done before adding benefits that everyone already gets.

 

You think they haven't thought of that loophole? I assure you we would still be in violation, because we could still get the same exact items for the "VC". We would still have to completely exchange the Gold Coin shop for it.

 

Or we can you know... make the vc give you other stuff? I mean we can have things like bombs or pets or something in gc. And shoutouts for vc since with shoutouts for vc, it allows people that don't need to spend money if they want to do a global shoutout if they are wanting to advertise their shops, buy stuff, talk about problems without having to post one at the bugs area or something and wait for a long time... I mean I wish I could just do some shoutouts without using cash. (And we can have specific pets exclusive to vc and vice versa)

But hey, I do think that adding a new voting currency is a fantastic idea if we manage to execute it properly.
