World Spawn Sheilds

Problem: So this one time, the server of Wynncraft just randomly crashed, or something like that, and I was kicked while fighting a (Quest) boss. when I logged back in, I immediately died, because I lag every time I join a server.

Solution: I suggest giving a little shield for about 5 seconds so you wont Die easily by a boss. the only problem I see is if it is too long, people can abuse it, too short, and it wont be worth it. but this is he only solution I see fit for something like this.

One, it just feels professional, and two, I meant a quest boss

 

its not professional, it will basically instantly start a flame war, and tbh its just annoying. But, I like the idea, although its been suggested before with greater detail.

If you want to look professional, use proper grammar. I understand if English isn't your main language, but you should at least spend a bit of time learning the language so you can communicate better.

I like the idea. Perhaps shield should end when you combat tag a mob, or as you say time runs out.
But please don't capitalise every word it's rather irritating. But I really like the idea. To be honest, I think it should also depend on the area too. So that people can't just do this in known grinding areas, or areas where people may want to abuse this.

(Side note, I saw the two posts above this AFTER I wrote this, because they were made while I was typing my reply)

The thing is: 1.9 Shields are not currently possible, due to Wynncraft being only 1.9+ compatible. The server is actually still in 1.8, but players can still join with 1.9+ clients. Perhaps giving them the Resistance buff instead?

BTW, Shields is spelled wrong in your title.

 

Ah, when I read the title, "Spawn Sheilds" and read "giving a little shield", I interpreted it as giving the player a literal shield. Confused it as, "spawn a shield" over "Shield on spawn". (He didn't specify that it's not a literal shield though, to me anyway).

Also, I'm pretty sure I'm the only person who misinterpreted this, unless you're talking about other threads.

 

But what if you have a shit computer that makes you freeze for 12 seconds every time the texturepack loads

 

To make this a little less abusable, perhaps the player will be given slowness 2 or something, and weakness 500 million

 

It always loads when I click something on the class selector for me ;-;

 

That's weird. Maybe a bug, you should report it to github. Mine loads immediately on server join.
