Bans/unbans

When you get banned and you make a unban appeal, Give a reason why its denied. So whenever they make a new one (A better one!) They know what to change.

And yes, I'm banned :3

They shouldn't have to spoon feed you ideas on how to change your appeal, you made it so you should know how to make it better.

 

On the forums there is a list with tips, I followd all of them and made it pritty good in my opinion. Used my own words (Din't copy it at all) So I don't know how to make it any better tbh

 

Is this your first ban? or second ban?

If this is your second ban, then sadly you won't get another chance.

 

Spellcheck and not using abbreviations?

 

It would be kinda.. extreme to deny a ban appeal only because of things like that. It should be about the content that matters.

 

Not Really. If you take the time to read over your appeal and correct any mistakes and use full words and not abbreviations, it would show you have put extra time and effort into your appeal.

Using abbreviations and spelling words wrong just makes your appeal look... "sloppy".

 

No. If you write an apology and ask for a unban in the best way possible, but it looks like it was written a 5-year old, you won't get unbanned.

 

Well, if staff blatantly ignore your ban appeals... you can get pissed off.

 

I hope you see the problem yourself then. I understand the point of @IntSerErr , saying that if it looks like the appeal has been written laziely and without proper care, it indeed shouldn't be accepted.

But as you say, a ban report that is written in the best way possible, probably some text explaining why someone did the illegal action, showing he's sorry and all that.. gets denied just for spelling mistakes and abbrehensions? The banned person has already shown it's wish and effort in getting unbanned by working out good content for the ban appeal. Things like abbrehensions and typos can happen in the heat of it, since people can indeed get quite excited in a situation like that. Also, you must know what group of people play Minecraft and Wynncraft. Of course there are a bunch of kids on here, yet these are also the ones funding the server through their purchases mainly.

But, I think we are going to far here anyway. The argument was most likely just meant to illustrate the point @IntSerErr mentioned, so I think I should shut the fuck up now.

If somebody's not old enough to write anything properly, should they really be playing MC and hacking/cheating?

No, they don't. Your ban appeal is not the only one out there. Be patient. I had to wait months for mine, but I still got a response.

And to be honest, Even tho I say this myself, I don't think this is a bad unban appeal.:

Hey, I got banned a long time ago for fly hacking, Yes I did fly hack because it just took to long to go everywhere. I was flying and noone did anything about it so I decited to continue but I got banned. Even tho I din't really hurt anyone with the hacks I still get a bigger advantage to other players so i'm really sorry for that. After I got banned for hacking I made video's of other people hacking because I hate them. So I stopped hacking from that point and i'm really sorry for hacking. I hope I can get a second change because I liked to play on the server and I don't hack anymore.

I agree it's a little extreme to deny a ban for simple spelling and grammatical errors, but even if that wasn't the case and it was denied for another reason, you should have proofread it to make sure it's up to scratch. For example:

Dear Wynncraft staff,

I got banned a long time ago for fly hacking, Yes, I did fly hack because it just took to long to go everywhere. It might also be a good idea if you're not feeling confident about your English to put a line saying 'I'm not a native English speaker, so apologies in advance for any poor spelling or grammar'.
