    Quest: Mirrored World: Part I

Level: 29 (Feel free to change this)
    Difficulty: Easy

Starting NPC: Dr. Weerd (please change the name, I'm horrific at naming). Hidden in a secret cave accessed through one of the houses in Ragni

    [1/1]
Dr. Weerd: Oh, goodness! I didn't think anyone under Level 29 could find this place! Go, shoo, scat!

    Quest Book:
Find Dr. Weerd hidden in the house at (X, Y, Z)

[1/1] Dr. Weerd: Yipes! I didn't think anyone could find this place! Though I'm actually kind of thankful you found me.

[1/7] Dr. Weerd: You see this large gateway here? According to my research, it appears to be some kind of portal to another world.
[2/7] Dr. Weerd: Obviously something like this would be dangerous for the general public, so I've kept it hidden.
[3/7] Dr. Weerd: Unfortunately, my partner, Dr. Mattie, went on a scouting trip into the portal earlier today, and she hasn't returned since.
[4/7] Dr. Weerd: I fear for the worst, and I assume that she's in mortal danger!
[5/7] Dr. Weerd: I would go after her, but the other world could be extremely dangerous, and I'm no fighter.
[6/7] Dr. Weerd: You, however, with your fancy armor and whatnot, would be perfect for the job!
[7/7] Dr. Weerd: Enter the portal, and please try to find Dr. Mattie!

[1/1] Dr. Weerd: Hurry! I'm worried about her!

    Quest Book Updated:
Find Dr. Mattie in the alternate world.

If you try and enter the portal without permission...
[1/1] Dr. Weerd: Woah, woah, woah! Get away from there! It's dangerous!

Welcome to the province of Nyww (don't ask how to pronounce that). This is an alternate universe, where things are very similar to Wynn, but very different at the same time. The world is flipped (what's south is now north), and most surprisingly, the monsters are friendly, and the humans and villagers are evil. You spawn in Fort Ingar, ruled by their king, who is a wither skeleton.

    [1/11]
Ingar's King: Guards! Another one somehow managed to get in!
[2/11] Ingar's King: Eh? You're from another world? That must explain what happened earlier today.
[3/11] Ingar's King: I'm sorry, we got off on the wrong foot. I am the king of Ingar.
[4/11] Ingar's King: I apologize for earlier, I mistook you for one of those hostile humans outside.

[5/11] Ingar's King: Welcome to the province of Nyww! You're on the island of Ingar.
[6/11] Ingar's King: It wasn't always such a small island, but ever since the Great War, the Province of Nyww literally broke up into several small islands.

[7/11] Ingar's King: They're too far away to sail to. We've given up long ago. We're completely isolated from the rest of the Nyww province.
[8/11] Ingar's King: Oh? You're wondering if someone passed through here? Why yes, in fact.
[9/11] Ingar's King: We thought she was one of those evil villagers, so we chased her out. I feel we made a mistake in doing so though.

[10/11] Ingar's King: We chased her out the gate to Ivlan Forest, so she's most likely there.
[11/11] Ingar's King: The other villagers and humans may think she's one of them, but not for long. I would hurry if I were you.

[1/1] Ingar's King: Once again, I apologize for thinking you were evil. We never get visitors from other worlds.

Fort Ingar is populated by zombies and skeletons, and raise spiders and silverfish as livestock. The merchants are witches. However, they don't accept emeralds here, they accept rubies. While mobs still sometimes drop emeralds, hostile mobs also drop rubies as part of their loot. You could also trade emeralds for rubies at the Ruby Merchant.

In addition, the armor merchants, rather than selling basic armor and weapons, sell unique equipment (the stuff you get when you identify something).

If you try to swim/boat off the island, it will prevent you from doing so, saying...
There's nothing but ocean for miles. No point in trying to swim anywhere.

Go down the Ruby Path, and make your way into the Ivlan Forest. Careful, there are plenty of dangerous Hostile Humans (NPC model) and Hostile Villagers (Villager). There will be plenty of other nasties around as well. Ivlan Forest is infested with Mad Pigs and Mad Sheep.

[1/8] Dr. Mattie: Ack! Stay away! I've got a stick and I'm not afraid to use it!

[2/8] Dr. Mattie: Wait a second, that's Wynn armor. Oh thank goodness, someone who isn't trying to kill me!
[3/8] Dr. Mattie: No, don't worry, you don't need to explain things, I've figured it out while I was here.
[4/8] Dr. Mattie: You want to take me home? Well I would love to do that, but I feel kind of sorry for the monsters that live here
[5/8] Dr. Mattie: We can't just leave them like this. Maybe we can help in some way.
[6/8] Dr. Mattie: I've heard there was one notorious villain that makes its hideout in the Villager Dungeon.
[7/8] Dr. Mattie: If we take it out, it will probably help the monsters build back up to the great province they once were!
[8/8] Dr. Mattie: Here, you'll need this key to get in to the Ramshackle Tunnels.

[1/1] Dr. Mattie: Use that key to get into the Ramshackle Tunnels, and take out whatever is causing problems.

    Quest Book Updated:
Go to the Ramshackle Tunnels at (X, Y, Z), defeat the Ironhead, and bring [1 Iron Piece] to Dr. Mattie.

    Without Key:
    [1/1]
Key Collector: You need a [Ramshackle Tunnels Key] to get into the dungeon.

[1/1] Key Collector: You have access to the dungeon...

The Ramshackle Tunnels is very similar to the Decrepit Sewers, but with some changes. Some of the puzzles are a little different, and instead of Sewer Skeletons and Sewer Rats, we have Sewer Villagers and Sewer Chickens.

    Boss: Ironhead
    Hostility: Hostile
    Mob: Iron Golem
    Attack Type: Ranged
    Lvl: 35
    Health: 5,000
    Weakness: Thunder
    Attack: Air
    Resistance: None
Regens: 100 HP every 10 seconds
    Damage: 90-160
    Walk speed: Normal
    Spells: Arrow Storm
    Drops: Iron Head

[1/4] Dr. Mattie: You did it? Amazing! That should help these monsters to start rebuilding the province!
[2/4] Dr. Mattie: I'm going to stay here for a while, this alternate world is fascinating!
[3/4] Dr. Mattie: You probably want to get home though, right? I heard there was some kind of gateway in the Human Ravines.

[4/4] Dr. Mattie: Oh, and hold on to that thing, Dr. Weerd probably wants to look at it.

[1/1] Dr. Mattie: Don't worry about me, I think I can take care of myself. You go ahead and find that gateway.

    Quest Book Updated:
    Report back to Dr. Weerd.

The Human Ravines are where, you guessed it, the Pigman Ravines were. The gateway is right where the passage to Troms was.

[1/9] Dr. Weerd: You came back! Amazing! Wait, where's Dr. Mattie?
[2/9] Dr. Weerd: She decided to stay? Well, at least I know she's safe.
[3/9] Dr. Weerd: Oh, but please, tell me, what is that alternate world like?

[4/9] Dr. Weerd: Looked like our world? Evil villagers? Friendly monsters?
[5/9] Dr. Weerd: Well, I've never heard such a fanatical story. Makes me almost want to go through that gateway myself!

[6/9] Dr. Weerd: Oh? What's this thing? Seems like a regular piece of iron. No different than the iron in our world.
[7/9] Dr. Weerd: You hold onto it, I'm sure you'll find a use for it on your grand adventures.
[8/9] Dr. Weerd: You've been such a great help. Take this, you've earned it.
[9/9] Dr. Weerd: Hold on, you said they use rubies rather than emeralds? Well here, then, take some of mine! Buy yourself something nice.

[1/1] Dr. Weerd: You said the Nyww province was split up right? I wonder if there are other gateways to those islands...
    Quest Complete!
    +10 EB
    +50 Rubies
    +10,000 EXP
    +1 Iron Piece (Necessary later)

Tweak the stats as much as necessary, I never know the appropriate stats. This includes the level of the quest.

    Notes
-Ingar is Ragni spelled backwards (I know, I'm so clever :D)
-I really wanted to do the same with Nivla Woods, but it would be weird if it was called Alvin Woods.
-The gateway was originally supposed to be the Door of Time, but I figured the Door of Time would be related to time travel, so I came up with a new gateway
-This could be the start of a huge streak of quests involving this alternate world. After all, the other parts of the Nyww province were separated, not destroyed.

    I like this idea.
This would be a fun quest, and if there were more quests in this reverse land at higher levels it would be really cool! :yum:

Cool concept, though level 19 could use a quest more than 20.

There's nothing in the lore that says there can't be another world, it just doesn't say that there is another world. The only link between the two worlds so far is a single gateway that someone recently discovered and kept a secret.

Interesting idea. But typo; "...ever since the great war the Province of Wynn literally broke up into..."
    Mobs are good enough.
It's a cool idea but frankly it was kind of... far-fetched. I mean, so are a lot of the other "Light" lower level quests, but... I don't really know.

This looks like it would be so cool! I think it would be even better if you put it at a higher level so the players could have more experience in the wynn world then found out how much different the new world is

The reason it was a low level before was because it was in Ragni, and Ragni is home to a lot of low level quests. It's probably better that it is higher level though, so players notice the similarities/differences from Wynn and Nyww.

This would be a lot better as a high level quest, as this is quite a large quest with lots of coding involved.... It would be more suited for high levels I think
