    Minecraft:
Summary: The Promise of the Iris is a 2 part quest, telling the small story of a little girl that the adventurer meets in a small village in a valley of the Wynn Province. You meet the little girl and she explains that her mother used to pick iris flowers for her in the meadows of Wynn. She asks you to pick a single Iris flower in the meadow, and you do so and bring it to her. This ends part one of the quest. Part 2 of the quest is set in Gavel. You meet with Captain Kymer once more at around level 50, and he explains to you that a village in Wynn was taken over by a fleet of 'unknown forces' with 'intense power'. You are sent to investigate the issue and to your horrifying discovery, find out that the village Kymer spoke of was this village you visited so long ago, giving the Iris to the girl. You're to investigate the area and you find the Iris planted in a pot that lies on the burned soil. You are then attacked by the fleet of unknown forces. I will not specify the mobs you fight, as I would see this as a good foreshadowing quest for some new Province or new issue in one of the Provinces. So I leave that to any GM who likes the idea.

Note: Other than for existing NPCs, I will not be using coords for most of the script as the mysterious village would be built in one of the side mountains of Wynn as a valley. For obvious reasons, I do not have access to these areas and would rather stay out of inaccurate coord locations.

Level Req for Promise of the Iris Part 1: 11

Pre Part 1 Quest Attempt to enter the mysterious village

    [1/1]
You feel a powerful presence in this valley and decide to leave.

    Quest:
Talk to Magrone in the mysterious village at [X] [Y] [Z]

    Quest Start Dialogue (Stage 1)

    [1/5]
Magrone: Hey, you! You've got a similar face to that of my mother's...
[2/5] Magrone: She would bring home a basket of Iris flowers for me every day! Until...
[3/5] Magrone: Well, she died, she became sickly and before I knew it, she was gone.
[4/5] Magrone: Say... would you bring me back [1 Iris Flower]? It would mean a lot!
[5/5] Magrone: You promise? Ok! Thank you!

    Magrone Repeat Message

    [1/1]
Magrone: You still looking for the Iris you promised me?

    [Quest Book Updated] (Stage 2)
Find the meadows of the mysterious village and pick 1 Iris Flower.

Player then finds and picks up an Iris Flower.

    [Quest Book Updated] (Stage 3)
    Return the flower to Magrone

    Quest End Dialogue:

Magrone: It's so pretty! Thank you so much, adventurer!
Magrone: Here, take some of my emeralds, please!

    Quest Rewards:
    20 E
    300 EXP

    -----------------------------------------

A note for part 2 as it can be a bit confusing, when the player tries to enter the mysterious village's orginal spot after part 1, the player can never enter that spot again, as it wouldn't make sense to see the village in tact for what part 2 will have happen. In part 2, the player is simply teleported into a model map when he/she enters the valley and the map contains the burned and destroyed village. (If it doesn't make sense, tell me and I will further elaborate. ;P)

Pre Mysterious Village Quest Part 2

    [1/1]
You hear crashing and screaming and decide to leave.

Pre Kymer Dialogue Quest Part 2

    [1/1]
Captain Kymer: Why, Hello again, human! I've got a rather extreme quest for you... come back when you're ready at level 50.

Promise of the Iris Part 2 Quest Begin Dialogue: (Stage 1)

    [1/6]
Captain Kymer: Ah! Good day, Human. I've got a ravishing quest for an adventurer such as yourself!
[2/6] Captain Kymer: You see, whilst visiting the Wynn Province to talk to my dear new friend Enzan in Ragni, I took a stroll.
[3/6] Captain Kymer: I had stumbled across a valley and heard terrible noises coming from the valley!
[4/6] Captain Kymer: I'd decided not to enter, considering my forces were back here in Llevigar.
[5/6] Captain Kymer: I've been waiting for your return, will you investigate the valley for we, the people of Llevigar?
[6/6] Captain Kymer: Oh- and if you happen to find any evidence of any sorts, bring it back to me.

    Captain Kymer Repeat Message:

    [1/1]
Captain Kymer: I see no evidence in your hands, human, please bring some sort of evidence back.

    [Quest Book Updated] (Stage 2)
Head to the valley Kymer spoke of at [X] [Y] [Z]

Upon entering the valley, the player is subtly teleported to a model of the village, burnt and destroyed with the iris flower planted in a pot in the center of the village. To continue the quest, the player must right click the flower pot, an invisible NPC will be on the flower pot, so when the player clicks it, the quest continues. If the player dies, they'll respawn at the model valley entrance.

    [Quest Book Updated] (Stage 3)
Enter the meadows of the mysterious village once more.

Upon entering the meadows, the flowers are all gone and the ground is patchy with gravel and dirt. The player is suddenly attacked by 5 powerful cloaked entities. The entities' nametags are '???' and stats are below.

    Name: ???
    Damage: 250% Per Hit
    Health: 13000
    Amount Spawned: 5

I kept it short because as I said, I want the quest to have some connection to the foreshadowing of some big quest or Province. (Idk XD)

Upon killing the mobs, they each have a 50% chance to drop
    [Torn Cloth] (quest item)

    [Quest Book Updated] (Stage 4)
Return to Captain Kymer with the evidence.

    Quest end Dialogue:

    [1/3]
Captain Kymer: Ah, human! You're back! I'm gla- oh.
[2/3] Captain Kymer: I had a feeling it might be them.
[3/3] Captain Kymer: Adventurer... you'll want to prepare. Anyways, thank you for your help, actions do not go untreated.

    Quest Rewards:
    Torn Cloth (quest item)
    78000 EXP
    15EB

Yeah I like that idea. o-o Anyway, hope you guys liked this quest idea. ^-^

    Official edit #1:
Specified that Torn cloth is the 'evidence' quest item for Promise of the Iris Part 2

The reward for part 1 ehhhhh. I mean sure it's meant to make the player do part 2 but still 300 XP?

Yeah, considering all the player does is talk and pick a flower, it shouldn't give much EXP, but it is supposed to spark curiosity with the name Part 1 in it. :)
