Aside from @XavierEXE's Assassin rebalance thread, I don't think I've seen any that are particularly good. Tbh, even his assassin rebalance thread has its own issues.

On a side note, could somebody please inform me on the effects of Vanish as it progresses along the levels?

Agreed hes the worst class in the game. He doesnt have any good spells and without good spells he isnt very good. And he has 0 range

 

Multihit's insanely overpowered, as it's a bunch of guaranteed hits. Spin Attack pushes bosses through walls. Vanish could use a jump boost/speed boost to get in on part with the other movement spells, though. As for range, there's always Smoke Bomb.

Assassin isn't a poor class, it's a difficult one.

 

Assassin is OP, read the 1.15 update! And, with a good strategy, he's actually good. Only people with bad strategies have problems with the Assassin. The Assassin is not for all people.


I remember when the Assassin was for VIP only....

 

Smoke bomb does less damage the farther you throw it, multihit is pitifully weak and sends the enemies flying so far that you can't hit them again, vanish eats up your entire mana bar, and spin attack gives you slowness 255 if you use it twice on the same enemy.

Wait, how does SA give you S255 if you use it twice on one enemy? I thought it was only supposed to leech the good effects?

 

It's a bug that happens with spin attack sometimes. The mobs are given slowness to keep them in place during spin attack.

When was this? Because I joined 2 years ago and the only class I ever played was assassin, (other the then lvl 6 archer, warrior and Mage...)

And I have a really good strategy for assassin (because I main it and it's not difficult.) spam smoke bomb, and once you get final upgrade for spin attack, spam that and at lvl 46 use vanish to travel all over the place really fast.

 

Using spin attack twice in a row gives you Slowness 255 for up to 2 seconds.
