Give Mythics Unique Textures 38 Supporters!

Hello Everyone,

Me being a mythic lover, i think mythics should have a higher tier skin!
a skin tier is basically how higher the quality and level of a weapon (Normal<Unique<Rare<Legendary<Mythic) how more the skin "evolves" and looks more badass.

Now, the mythic tier is a very special tier of items, and very rare at that.
They have unique stats, so why not give them unique skins? It does not even have to be much more then the legendary skin, just add something unique!

Anyways thats it for this suggestion

That's like 20+ new Models, a quarter of the total models we have.

Even if it is done, it's gonna take a dang long time.


Also, don't forget to add details on what they should look like, to aid the modellers as best as possible.

Well to be fair, there was a suggestion a I saw a while ago on using the 1.9 ability of items that have different damage values. you could chat the texture. This could only happen though when/if wynn goes to fully 1.9.
tl;dr: 1.9=more textures with less separate item models being changed.

 

We're not fully 1.9, so that's not yet possible.

 

Hence "If/when"

 

I like the idea, but then again, it would take a lot of time for the pack editors.

As it were, this could not happen...at least, at the moment.
We stretched the resources thin on usable items with this update, if you notice. Enemies and players are wearing things like melon blocks and stairs to show as rings and spears, and we cannot spare any more items to the models at the moment.

If/when we update to 1.9, this may happen due to more items being added -and- the ability to change durability on items to give them custom models, but for the time-being, this is impossible.

 

could you make bob's mythic weapons more accurate to lore?

 

I agree. The lore states that Bob's Mythic weapons are black with purple runes inscribed on them.

 

AKA they come from Dern.
