World Ideas For Dern

Hello! I've just had some ideas for Dern, I know they will most likely not be used, but I just would like to let people know. So, all I really know about Dern is that it was a province that was destroyed years ago, and is sort of rebuilt, so pardon me if I say something that has already been decided as something else. Okay, first things first, the entrance Gavel's story about why we couldn't always go there was because the villagers wouldn't let us, but then they finally opened up. I was thinking there could be a big cave in by the entrance that's partially cleared away and then a path leading to the first city. SO for the map, there would obviously be a few ancient ruins and maybe a little -not much, because it's only Wynn that's corrupted- zombies that were supposably the residents of those villages before they were destroyed. There would be a few quests revolving around the ruins, maybe you have to help an archeologist find out more about it, go explore, and report back. Maybe a quest where someone got lost/stuck in a place that got caved in, or there just wasn't a way to get out. As for the theme, like how Gavel's is magic, and Wynn's is corruption, I'm not entirely sure, I was thinking magic because I heard that mages supposably learned their magic from the people of Dern, but that theme is Gavel's. One aspect of the map that I was thinking about is a forest between the size of Nivla and the light forest, i suppose it could be larger, but not smaller. It would have relatively large trees and I was thinking of a village up in the trees where little, green, friendly creatures lived similar looking to the mandragora of the light forest. That is all i have. I look forward to the coming of Dern, even though it probably will not have my ideas. :)

 

Well, Dern's going to probably be a pretty bleak place. It's the province of darkness and dankness, after all.

Dern can be the mlg city all the npcs are doge and all the quests have something to do with mlg and the king of the town is named gay ben any suporters?
