World Weekend Traders (under Maintenence)

Introduction:
One cool idea I had that is included in many MMO's is weekend traders, traders that are only available on the weekend that sell you rare and often exclusive items. Since double xp weekends doesnt seem to be a thing anymore, I thought this would be a good replacement. There

Varients: (the different traders)
Human caravan trader (wynn), elven caravan trader (gavel), shady elf (gavel), shady human (wynn)

Locations and times: (were you can find them and when they do business)
(NOTE: all times start on the weekend, as soon as the weekend starts in whatever timezone the wynn servers are based in, that is when the traders will spawn.)
-The human caravan trader can be found in Detlas during the day time, during the night he will go into his caravan and refuse to do business with anyone.
-The elven caravan trader is located in Cinfras and will do the same as the human.
-The shady human can be found lurking around any city or village in wynn (village, such as bremmenglar, elkurn, etc.) He will only do business with you during the night, at any other time he will rudely tell you to go away.
-The shady elf can be found lurking around any city or village in Gavel (village, such as efelim, lexdale, or dogovi) He will do the same as the shady human.

Functionalities: (what the traders are good for)



Feel free to help think of a name for them. The trader sells a total of 20 (may raise or lower this) items, kweapons, armor, and accessories) all ranging in level, (lowest level being the level of the city) class, etc. Each item is priced fairly. These items may or may not be weekend trader exclusive, it depends on how the staff feel about making a bunch of new items. i think that is all for this suggestion, please leave suggestions and feedback.

 

Maybe make another currency that you only get from winning/killing players in nether and you use that currency to buy stuff

 

If they're traders, they'd no doubt go to Detlas, and only maybe Cinfras. The vast majority of dealings occur in Detlas, not Almuj, even if the city is wealthier.

It's not a bad idea, but you should:

1. Clean up the thread, make it look nicer
2. Add lots more detail, e.g. weapon stats, precise times, etc.

I havn't seen it any time I've bee on on a weekend, only player bombs.

 

Woahh yes. I wants. Although instead of having the set spots for those traders, allow them to appear anywhere. Just throw the shady ones in an alley or something. Also the stuff they sell would be a higher tier or lvl but cost outrageous prices. So Legendary (blank) would be like.... 25 le or something. Maybe not even legendaries. There could also be holiday merchants selling exclusive stuff.

 

Umm ... I wouldn't I make more sense for the traders to come out a night cause they are shady traders, no?

 

Caravan traders stand outside their caravan during the day and do business with people, at night they go into their caravan to "sleep". The shady traders will do business during the night, during the day they will not do business with you.

 

I think the elf trader should be changed to a villager, the elves are known not to be greedy and thus a shady elf merchant probably wouldn't exist. Villagers, though... They gonna take yo monies
