One Time Only Items (exclusively For You)

    I've a huge SAO fan and the main character (kirit0) Has his own skill, his own unique still just for him.

    Imagine this:

    Special dungeons to be added and hidden, super-secret, when found on your own you are utterly destroyed even the most powerful players are. The only way you stand a chance at even getting it is if you go in as like a raiding party.

    Each part of the dungeon requires a skill specific thing and that only one class can let you progress (So you need a party of all classes)

    Then a super powerful boss that you need teamwork and excellent skill to kill.

    Finally once that monster is dead, all members of the party get an exclusive weapon (That only they will have) untradable weapon so it stays with you and forever will be a trophy.

    Also, the when a party enters the dungeon it will announce to the server that the '_______Has been opened!'
    Then finally when the boss is dead it could broadcast a message saying '_______Has been defeated! Those who slayed this beast were __________'

    Then finally finally the dungeon that has had its boss killed will lock up or disappear or explode so nobody else may enter it.

    New dungeons could be added in every like 2 months or update or something like that.

    Tell me your opinions on my idea Does it suck? Does it not suck? Will it not work? Will it work?

    The old Animal Dungeon used to be like this.

    You'd need at least a Mage, Archer and Warrior to enter (Assassin was VIP only), and it required teamwork in order to progress.

    While, in concept, this sounds like a good idea, finding people to actually work with you to go through stuff like this is incredibly hard. Go to a busy server and ask for help opening bob's tomb and fighting him; most people have their own things to do and won't speak up.

    Now, in theory, this seems like an interesting idea, however, it would KILL the builders and GMs. They would have to work hard to make a huge dungeon, just for it to disappear. Good concept, however sadly it probably would be too hard to do.

    The boss wouldn't be so hard as in so boring, 5million health = roughly 30mins of meteors/uppercuts/bomb arrows/idkwhatassasinuses.

    If I were to do math, 2 months to build a 4-8 part dungeon with about 20 Builders (Idk what he count is) we can't keep up. I mean, everyone is busy and has a life still. But the thing is, they have to make the weapons too. So then this is just a part where the builders quit their job xD (No offence). Also, these bosses shouldn't just be I hit you so hit me back type. They would be a more... Undertale fight (Dodge the attacks, Go in for the kill, repeat). As with the weapons, that would mean a big boost to hire the raid winners and others won't be a noticed. Say I won a item and it's so good that the other people aren't... trustworthy/good. That wouldn't be fair just because that you don't get hired when the dungeon gets released while you are sleeping and then huge search parties go for it. Although the access should be different instead of finding it, there should be a contest for a key or something. The dungeon could be placed in the temple of legends and only people that haven't won the key can go inside (Noting that they use the key within a certain amount of time). Anyone in the party would be allowed to head in as soon as the key is used (2 mins max). That way, they won't have to change the dungeon every time. All in all, I'm an SAO fan (Watched both seasons twice) and I think this idea could use some changes/balancing but I like it!

    I like the idea, but similar to what everyone else said, it would take forever for the builders to make a dungeon like that every two months. Maybe just one or two dungeons instead of a load of different ones?

    Correction: Assassin was not needed, but it was preferred as there was the part with the very powerful sheep and you had to vanish so you wouldn't get hit, and at the end of the hallway was a button.

    This'd be practically impossible as a thousands, ten thousands, hundred thousands of players can do the dungeon. Nobodies going to make that many items.

    Builders team are now dead....
    First Congrats but really it will take months to make a good dungeon.... adding one every 2 months will kill the Builders and GM....
    Second I know some people who can do that alone.... archer is pretty op...
    Its sad that you cant dualwield weapons <- off topic
    NOBODY CAN MAKE THAT MUCH ITEMS IN ONE TIME..... there like 1ooo people playing daily I think if everyone gets a unique items the GM will die...
    I don't think allot of people will be on the same time to enter the dungeon and isn't this idea kinda like Bob's tomb?
    Its okay I guess but too much work......

    I'm not too sure about how the boss fight would be, but I'm suggesting maybe just have like one dungeon, perhaps interchangeable parts if that's feasible, that appears in certain locations, closes after it's defeated, then appears in another location after a certain amount of time. As for the unique items, if it's possible, just make a weapon with everything set to random, so that when it's identified, it has a certain damage, and buffs and debuffs and all that, but a random amount of slots, random types, and random attack speed, all depending on what kind of weapon it was before identification. And then, perhaps the GMs could create a batch of unique effects, only for this item, and only one is added when the weapon is identified. That would probably make it unique enough, and less of a pain to code than tons of weapons... I think.
