Quest: Dark Destroyer

This is an idea I had, my first quest idea in-fact, so if it's a bad idea.. Well that's why, and I'm going to add MUCH more detail in to this idea, so think of this as a very rough draft.
Title: Dark Destroyer

Location: Somewhere deep within the canyon of the lost (if possible, have the NPC be able to be "heard" from afar if the player is a high enough level, something along the lines of "Help! Someone save our world!")

Starting NPC: Draxon

Other NPCs: Selavris

Difficulty: Hard

Level: 100

(Talk to Draxon)

[1/6] Draxon: Can you save our world? Yes, yes I can sense your energy, your strength, it is that of a hardened hero.

[2/6] Draxon: Ah, I'm getting carried away, you see... Our world is faced by a threat... Something once believed to be a god...

[3/6] Draxon: It's name is Relixion, a dragon filled with nothing but demonic and dark powers, like that you see in.. Oh, what're they called?

[4/6] Draxon: Endermen! Yes, he was born from the corpses of thousands and thousands of Endermen, and he's stronger than anything!

[5/6] Draxon: Please, save our world, I know someone who lives in the Sky Islands, she'll tell you what to do, just tell her...

[6/6] Draxon: "The gods watch us as we remain pure," now go!

[Quest Started: Dark Destroyer]


[1/5] Selavris: Who are you? Why do you wish to speak to me?

[2/5] Selavris: What did you just say? Alright, I know who sent you, Draxon, right? You see...

[3/5] Selavris: I believe you've heard of a place called.. "The Light Realm", correct?

[4/5] Selavris: Well, supposedly there's a material there, guarded by a divine entity, I can temper it in to the weapon of your choice.

[5/5] Selavris: It's the only way to hurt Relixion, now get me [1 Holy Ingot] from the guardian!

[Quest Book Updated]

Holy Guardian:


Zombie with glowstone for head, wearing golden armor and holding a golden sword

125000 HP

12500 regen/24 seconds

2000-2500 Damage

Weak to fire

Will only attack if attacked, and will go after you relentlessly


[1/3] Selavris: Good! You found it! Now, let me forge this weapon.

*She enters her home, and loud slams on an anvil are heard, flames roaring as she comes back out, parts of her hair burnt.*

[2/3] Selavris: Now, this weapon is the only thing that can hurt Relixion, but it can't hurt anything else.. So be careful!

[3/3] Selavris: Draxon knows where Relixion is, so go ask him.

[1/3] Draxon: You found the weapon!? Great! Relixion is in a... Strange realm, it's an inverted version of the Light Realm..

[2/3] Draxon: There's a portal to it in the Light Realm, I'm not sure of the exact location however.

[3/3] Draxon: Please, save our world!

In the inverted light realm you will only find Relixion.|

Relixion The Dragon God:



An ender dragon

500000 HP

10000 regen/8 seconds

3000-4500 damage

Will attack you relentlessly, and knows Teleport III as well as a spell called Shadow Breath, which is basically flamethrower but with black particles and blinds and slows as well as does damage, if it can't know two spells, then it just knows Shadow Breath

When killed drops [Relixion's Heart] and needs to be returned to Draxon

It simply feels limp. It's "Oh no! It happened again! Another boss! Go! Go forth! Do it again!"

Seriously though, a wand with 5/4 mana regen, up to 500 damage, and super fast attack speed... you do realize that could mean like 20k meteor damage...

 

Oh, right! I didn't think about that! I kind of wanted the gear to be OP just to feel good since the boss itself is... Quite OP, I'll nerf that immediately.

 

It's fine if you only get these weapons for the boss fight, but I suggest they be taken away afterward, or at least given weaker versions.

 

Right, right, that was my original idea to be fair, and you'd only get the necklace at the end, but I thought the necklace was a bit of a crappy prize, that's why it's said that the weapons "Can't hurt anything else.", I never bothered to change that after giving the prize at the end, changed it now so that you get the weapon while doing the quest, and if this quest ever DOES make it's way in to wynncraft, I hope there's a way that it can't do any damage to anything that isn't the boss, I'm probably going to add on to this idea to make it... More intriguing, to say the least.

 

If it's only for the boss, then it's fine to have it be super fast btw.

*shrug* I suppose it's because it's like a destroyer of worlds kind of thing, and then it can only be hurt by holy things? I'll probably put much more detail in to this later,

R.I.P Dark theme users such as me... not bad, but I have tried coding a ender dragon for a boss fight, it is LITERALY impossible...
try making the ultimate boss something else besides a draggon, cuz dem devs gonna get sleep deprived...
