    Introduction
    Here's one I thought a bit about and wrote on a Google Doc in my spare time.
    This suggestion adds a new stat/attribute to existing items: Range.
    Range determines how far one’s attacks reach out to deal damage.
    Like the Attack Speed stat, it is represented by individual tiers.

    Range Tiers
    Far Range ← Globally Highest Tier/Highest Tier for Bows (Shot Speed)
    Long Range ← Highest Tier for Wands/Default Tier for Bows
    Normal Range ← Highest Tier for Spears/Default Tier for Wands/Lowest Tier for Bows (Shot Speed)
    Short Range ← Highest Tier for Daggers/Default Tier for Spears/Lowest Tier for Wands
    Close Range ← Globally Lowest Tier/Default Tier for Daggers/Lowest Tier for Spears

    How It Works
    Bows -
    Arrows travel faster, but most bows start out with Long range, representing the default range and shot speed.
    Actual range caps at Long tier, both at a minimum and maximum.
    Shot speed increases/decreases.

    Wands -
    Attacks reach out further, phasing through more enemies.
    Most wands start out with Normal range, representing the default range.

    Spears -
    Attacks reach out further, attacking enemies from afar.
    Most spears start out with Short range, representing the default range.

    Daggers -
    Attacks reach out further, attacking a singular enemy from afar.
    Most daggers start out with Close range, representing the default range.

    Elements
    Air weapons tend to have increased Range affinity.
    This gives the Air element more usability, as it provides a substantial buff to most Air weapons.
    Some Air bows are capable of reaching Far tier.

    Thunder weapons tend to have decreased Range affinity. (TBD)
    This is to balance out the benefits of their Attack Speed affinity.
    Some Thunder spears are capable of reaching Close tier (around default-Assassin range).

    This is probably one of the more simpler ideas I have for now.
    Please leave feedback as to how I can change this.

    But what would this longer attack look like? Is the weapon invisible? For the Archer and Mage there's magic and arrows. Is there anything from the others? Or is it an invisible "projectile"?

    Not really. Most weapons and their skins represent this range pretty well. Most Daggers are daggers or sword-type skins, Spears are typically spear-type skins, and Model/Skin size doesn't matter for Bow and Wand.

    More on topic, nice suggestion, but could use a Proof of Concept. Not necessarily a physical one, but atleast an idea on how to make it work.

    Spears are special in that they can deal damage in a slightly spread-out area, which differs from that of the dagger attack that only deals damage to a single target.

    Given that spear attacks are programmed differently to create this effect, I think it would be possible to give a dagger a spear's range by making it have a similar effect. (This is probably the one thing I'm least certain about.)
    (DEBUNKED)

    Wynncraft bows are different from vanilla bows in that they automatically fire arrows on demand with a set velocity. If it's possible to increase this velocity for certain weapons like they did for Attack Speeds, I believe the Shot Speed effect could be replicated.

    The wand attack is also a specially programmed one, which should also be adjustable if that's the case.

    This is a really good idea that I feel like could bring an extra aspect of "not vanilla minecraft" to Wynn. However, it would make the assassin even less powerful due to short range. This could make it where the assassin could have a powerful attack but very close range. I vote "I think its good" because this could make the game a lot better without changing too much. Sry for long msg xD, see you on Wynncraft!

    The default range for Assassin would be just the same as it currently is right now, if you were asking.
    So it would be neutral, if not beneficial.

    Right, but all the other classes would get a buff from the range that they would have, and the assassin would stay the same range, so the assassin would need a damage upgrade.

    Incorrect. Spears and Daggers utilize the exact same melee attack. There is no difference except which classes can use it.

    Well, that is why Assassins have a higher damage rating than Archers despite having lower base damage; the Archer's basic attack hits only one enemy at a time while Assassins can hit as many as they can reach.
