World Auto Afk Kicker And /afk Command.

What?:

I feel like there should be an AFK auto kicker on every server that activates if a user is AFK for longer then 15-30 minutes. There should also be a command in which players can put into place themselves such as /afk or /brb.

How it works:

• If a user is standing still and inactive for 5 minutes, they will be moved into AFK mode. Mob and player interaction would not effect their timer.
• If player remains AFK for longer then appointed, they are automatically kicked from the server to a main lobby.

• If you are knowingly going to be AFK and need people to know this ASAP, simply type /afk. If implemented, a message will be displayed stating you are AFK if someone private message you or tries to trade / duel with you.

Why?:

• Auto Kicker (Although plenty of people will complain about this) makes people actually "work for" or "plan ahead" for the loot chests instead of camping them all out for 24 minutes or so. Maybe this is how the server owners wanted it to be, but I feel like having users sit AFK while they leave to do something else, just to come back and take a teir 4 chest is bothersome.
  
• FINALLY MAKES DONORS PRIORITY IN SERVERS. As most of us know, especially donors, we are promised "priority" on servers. This usually indicates that we will be able to join any server no matter how full it is. Non donors are kicked from the server and donors can access it. HOWEVER, what if we placed an AFK timer for non donors and fluctuated the time frame for donors. Example; non donor is kicked from the server if AFK'ed longer then 30 minutes. Donors are kicked if AFK'ing longer then an hour. If you wish to go one step further, you can create an AFK timer for non donors only, thus allowing donors to be exempt from the auto kicker and potentially opening up spots for donors to join "full" servers.
• I tend to be on the server doing business deals, such as selling items from my shop. Usually you can find me in Detlas waiting on someone to come meet me, or just waiting to hear from someone in general... but I tend to get bored and minimize the server while waiting. The /AFK command would be fantastic to implement so that we can allow friends and others to know if we are available or not.

Rundown

• Add an auto AFK that activates for everyone or just non donors within a specific amount of time.
• Add an auto kicker that will remove said users from the server they are in, to the lobby after a specified amount of time has pasted.
• Add commands /afk which will allow everyone, or donors, to openly AFK immediately when needed.
• Add custom memo's that will be printed into chat to allow users to know when someone is in /AFK upon trading, dueling or whispering to said user.
• Possibly limit AFK time to a time that is shorter than the average tier 4 chest re-usual time.

Positives rundown:

• Gives more value to donor ranks.
• Gives donor priority in servers as they were promised from the shop description, yet does not seem to work?
• Allows users to express if they are going to go AFK in case friends are looking for them or people are meeting to purchase items / or do a quest, etc.
• Possibility of removing most AFK teir 4 chest campers.
• Opens server slots
• Reduces server lag due to open chunks that AFK players are keeping open.

There are a handful of plugins that were developed for these exact purposes with open files allowing personalized modifications.

 

Sometimes (if you're someone like me) you go AFK on purpose to wait for mobs to gather around you. Ex: You're on a pillar too high for mobs to get to and you're grinding for XP. Then you return 5 min later and use your spin attack. Easy.

 

That is why the AFK timer would be something reasonable like 15-30 minutes.
This would give you plenty of time to AFK allowing mobs to spawn around you for grinding

 

If someone if afk for that long, the server would probably reset by then

 

See, there's a common misconception that Wynn's donor priority kicks non-donors. It doesn't. There's a set amount of server slots that are for Donors only. Most of the time, they're all filled, so you never really notice it.

 

How often do you think the server's reset o.O

Nah, I've been on some servers for 2+ hours and it took forever before they restarted. 3o minute afk-kick is very reasonable for the servers that last a few hours.

Hey that means your ass has to come back and make that effort to move or else youre kicked XD

 

Why not use /class? You're stuck in a black box of darkness that surrounds u until you get your ass back in the game.

 

If only you used that logic for your app idea.
