World Wynncraft Mobile App (10 Supporters)

It would be really cool to have an app on mobile. You could be able to access forums, news and other things.
It really is hard to use the website on a mobile device and with an app GUI we could make things smoother.

If we can get a Kickstarter/IndieGoGo thing going, we might be able to do this! So who's with me?

Some good ideas on why this should be a thing ( If you have any suggestions then leave them below) -
- People don't need to switch to a browser and ket afk killed by mobs.
- Extra research on the go
- Our communication would be better as some of you could be on a train or something without a computer and need to reply on the Trade Market or whatever
- NOTIFICATIONS. HOW ELSE AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW IF SOMEONE WANTS TO BUY MY STUFF
- Mobile apps access. I want to upload something and I'm not bothered to plug in the device? Import it onto the forums or whatever with the app!

 

The website is easy to use on mobile... I use it 90% of the time.
Anyways what would the app change to the website?

 

Everything would be more smooth I guess. I would leave it to the devs to decide what to put in. Maybe there could be guild lists that could be accessed on the app or something. I'm running out of ideas

Sometimes (all the time) mobile web browser can lag, where an app would not lag as much.

 

I can code but I need to get something done first.

 

I only think this would be relevant if the devs decided to use you as one of the programmers. Although this may never be a thing due to the $150 fee to be able to publish apps. But if anyone could draw us a template for an interface that could interest the devs and how things work.

It needs wifi. D'ya know how the forums work? They're connected to a server which is connected via wifi. You need some form of internet access for it to work

 

We could store it into a storage and once you connect it uploads?

Yes I did, and all of them are rendered null and void by the fact that the forums work on mobile devices.

 

But the forums don't give you notifications...
Or leave you to be AFK killed by mobs when on mobile because you have two devices setup

 

How would having an app help? You're still looking at the screen either way. And forums do give notifications, look in the part labeled 'alerts'

 

But how can u see it while you're playing? You have to actually check the forum. The fact that I don't know if someone wants my stuff and I have to wait for the browser to open bothers me.
You can multitask. Hit the enemy in front of you and read. Otherwise hit the enemy, switch tabs and then get AFK killed

 

Just keep it on a bookmark. There's really no point in having the app, seeing as you can do the same things without it, just with 1 second more loading time.

 

Yes but waiting for safari/chrome to open... getting the browser to open... and then have your interface lag like hell.

When I'm playing the game I play on the computer. I use the browsers on my mac instead of the iPad because lag. So I have to command + tab and then be AFK rekt.

 

It took me around 1.75 seconds to have the forums up after restarting my iPad. It's not that hard compared to using storage space to download an app that wouldn't really be used when you can just put it on a bookmark, or heck, just have it on your frequently visited page
